First time for both any suguestion on provider for an older rookie & how long before provider comes over to you take the pill??

50 mg 1 hour before arrival should be okay.  HINT get the 100 mg and break them in half.  Same price as 50 mg and go twice as far

I wouldn’t …………

Advise you to take Viagra unless you are truly impotent and the Viagra was prescribed to you by a doctor because you really need it….......………but since you are asking here on a public board when to take it …....... I doubt you got it from a doctor who would have already explained to you how and when to use it.

Are you taking any other types of meds ? like heart medication , blood pressure medication , anti depressants  like Prozac , Paxil ? other ? Do you drink alcohol ??
Many other factors involved when thinking of taking Viagra , and it shouldn’t be taken lightly.

I have been with older gentlemen who thought they would need to take Viagra , ( they didn’t get it from a doctor )  I didn’t allow them to take it ………and guess what , they didn’t need it.

A few guys I have been with who did take it and lets just say it was no help, infact it just made things worst .

So I would really reconsider taking Viagra.

I agree with Cindy to a point. If you did not get from a doctor and you take other medication your being foolish.  Regarding the time in advance one hour sound about right.  My personal opinion, take it if you can.  It takes the presure off when you feel sensitive and an insensitve provider is stressing you.  True a natural woman can get a man to a perfect salute but good match takes experiance and I can say I can only feel really confortable with less than half of the providers who are out there.  This website can help increase the odds but there is never certainty that you are going to get a 100% connection. With a stiff dose I find I can get the woody of my youth and with the right woman that is a deadly combination at my age.

First let me say that I concur with Cindy.  If anything she played down the risks.
I understand your concern with regard to performing well.  I have even considered taking Viagra or something similar myself.  But then I remember what one of my professors told me in school. “Medications are toxins given at a sub toxic dose. “  Therefore if you take a med and another med potentiates its effect now you have taken a toxic dose.   Now I do not want to tell anybody what to do with their own body.  But I think it is important for you to be an informed consumer of medications.  Whether you take Tylenol or Sildenafil citrate take the lowest dose that works.  Some meds, especially nitrates, when combined with Viagra or other ED meds can cause a lethal reaction.  Your blood pressure drops and it never comes back up again.  Even if you were sitting in an ER when the nitro is given they may not be able to get your pressure back up.  I don’t mean to alarm.  I just want to inform.  Check out the link for more info.

one of her longtime clients took unprescribed Viagra, had a few cocktails and had a massive heart attack during orgasm.  He had an unknown heart problem which was the ultimate cause of death but the deadly combo of Viagra, alcohol and sex was the activator.

Just my two cents but I never want to be that provider who has to call police and explain what happened.  Nor would I want to be the wife finding out exactly how my husband died.  Not a winning combo in my mind and that's why I slyly  ask my clients prior to our bcd time if they have indulged.  If they have I politely decline the appt.

Just use your big head and be safe as most of you guys do not need it if with a good provider!

Who would be the perfect provider for an older rookie who will not be using viagra. Thanks to all for the info on viagra

Cindy is right on target again...for some of us the little pill (whether doctor recommended or not) wasn't of any help...it's all about the connection with the lady, and how comfortable you feel with her...gw

I found that it reduced sensation for me so much that it made me last too long...way too long and made it very difficult for me to cum...so I would not do it, unless you really need it for erectile disfunction.  I found that for the providers I have seen, I did not need it at all.  All the other health concerns are important as well.
