Has anyone stayed at Encore Tower Suite? I am just wondering what's the difference between it and regular Encore Suite. So far, I have only stay at Encore due to comp and promo (hard to resist a bargain), but I am considering Encore Tower Suite for my next visit (if they are considerable better). I am also wondering if the security there is tougher for the ladies.

...it's very easy to get around.  Simply meet the lady downstairs, enjoy a cocktail together, do you thing in the room and then walk her to the valet area.  It's a date, right?  Treat it as such!  Security is watching for
1. women 'trolling' and picking up guys in the casino and then going to the room
2. going straight to the room, knocking on the door and then leaving alone

So, very easy to get around by being are discreet and tasteful!
Just My opinion and business model, of course.

Damn, we shouldn't have to worry about all this stuff!
The hyposcrisy kills me, esp in this town which was/is built on drinking, gambling and SEX.
There's no way this should be illegal.
Right??

I was just there in July. Stayed in the encore suites . Not the tower. It seems to me that the tower has more security ie ;
Separate entrance etc for more exclusive suites. In the regular suite you just flash your key and  walk on the elevator. If I was going to have multiple visitors I would not stay in the towers.it would seem that they would pay more attention as to who was coming and going.  JMHO.

ENJOY

I am low key kind of guy so I prefer not to get the stares from other guests while I am with a very hot lady. :) We can call it a date, but most people are smart enough to know better. I'll do it, but it doesn't mean I'll like it. That's the reason I prefer less security while still staying at a top notch hotel.

Ok so firstly, there is usually always a purple coat (security officer) positioned in front of the Sundries store at the Encore Resort entrance area that leads to the guest room elevators and always one positioned in front of the Encore Tower Suites doors to get into the lobby.

To answer your second question, Encore is considered an all Suite Resort so technically all rooms are suites.  There is a Resort Suite (740 sq. ft.) which you have stayed in which all of these rooms are on the Resort side and all the same.  Then there is a Tower Suites which has its only private lobby and the first room category is called a Tower Suite (740 sq. ft.) which is exactly like the Resort Suite.  Then the next category up is a 1 bedroom Parlor Suite (1,400 sq. ft.) which has a separate bedroom from the living room and also a massage room.  Then there is a 1 bedroom Salon Suite (2,200 sq. ft.) and separate bedroom from the living room and also a massage room.

Then if you are a rated casino player there are the 1 story Apartment which is 3,500 sq. ft. or the 2 story Duplex which is 5,800 sq. ft. and has an elevator in the suite and kitchen and billiard room with 3 bedrooms.

Either way you are going to have to show a room key to go up and unless you need a larger suite like the Parlor or Salon for entertaining a group of people or just trying to go all out just stay with the Resort Suite like you already had and it is a great room and very similar experience just have to wait in longer lines to check in.  Hope that helps out and if all else fails just check out the website and it clearly shows you all of the room types.

Now, I am going to look into Cosmopolitan and Mandarin Oriental. After I have stayed at Encore for the last couple of trips, I feel like trying something new. :)

People seem to like it as it has balcony's you can go out on. Alot has been said on here about doing it out on the balcony overlooking the strip etc. . Whatever floats your boat.
Report back and let us know which one and how it was :)
Enjoy

lvpete has it down pretty good. The Encore Tower suites did have the required hotel key card in the slot on elevator when I was there last December. I was there a few weeks ago and that has been removed. You can easily walk in from the outside Towers entrance and hang a right to go up. As far other places to stay, I vote Encore!
