Elevator security

My last trip in January I stayed at The Downtown Grand and they had no elevator security.

Back in early October, I stayed at the Mirage and they did not have elevator security in the afternoon but did in the evenings. That being said I was there In July and they had security 24/7.

Staying at Mirage next week , will let you know.

Which strip hotels do not require you show a key card to access the elavators?
Thanks

Luxor,Tropicana,NYNY,MGM,Planet Hollywood,Paris,Park Mgm. These are the ones I’ve notice that don’t I’m sure there are others as well.

MGM now requires an active key to get to your floor.

Just got back and Mirage does have Card key security at elevators.
In fact, they now have a card reader in the elevators AND you can only go to floor your room is located on.

Example. I was on 16th floor but i could not go to the 14th floor.

At night they did have security personnel as well checking room keys.

With  all the  terrorism today international, Domestic  and local crazys
Safety comes first..
You can allways meet  lady or friends downstairs  and give them your sister card , go up separately ..
To be Discrete
Good luck!!

Thanks for the information. When I settle on the exact dates, I will check back.  Things sure have changed in the last few
years.

and the Hilton Grand Vacations property lock the door after 9pm and you need a key card to acess the doors.
They usually have a security guard at front doors as well asking to see you're key cards.
If you ever happen to stay at one of the 2 in vegas. Be prepared.
