Been out of the game for a bit and planning to dabble in the hobby again. I understand that deposits are the norm these days and have no problem with putting down a deposit.
I'm just a bit Leary of leaving a "paper trail" when using Venmo, cashapp etc. How do others feel about this? what alternatives if any are you using ?

Go to the local Walgreens. Buy a couple hundred in visa gift cards. Give those visa gift card numbers out as your deposit. It’s very simple to do this with absolutely no paper trail if that is a big thing for you.
