I canceled a meeting with a well-known provider about 48 hours in advance. I've never seen her before.
Feel really bad about it. I missed out on some fun and she probably lost money.

What, if anything, should I do about this>

.....relax!  If indeed you gave her 48 hours notice, IMO she should be fine with that.  Sure, she's likely disappointed, as are you.  It happens in this mongor world.  Now if you are able to re-book with her at a later date, that would be great!  Had you not given advance notice of your inability to keep the appointment, well, then you'd be "toast"!

hey at least you gave notice, LOL...some would just no call no show..and you gave 48 hours notice, even better, so she could actually pick up another appointment for that time.

It happens to us all. Just book with her next time you are in vegas.

You do not owe her anything.

If you canceled same day or hours prior then yes, you should feel bad and ought to send a gift card to amazon or Nordstrom or something via email.

48 hours is plenty of cancelation time and you should NOT feel bad and you do NOT have to do anything unless you WANT to.

...you don't owe her anything since you gave plenty of notice.  Things happen, especially in Vegas.  The fact that you took the time to give her the courtesy of letting her know way in advance something changed, you're fine.  The first time I was to meet the Vegas lady who became my ATF, I had to cancel a day ahead due to some really random things happening at home that I had to attend to ASAP.  She understood, and I booked her the next time I was in town with no issues, and as I stated, she became my ATF.  So don't worry about it.  If anything, use it as an excuse to come back to Vegas and book her :)

If she has a cancellation fee, pay it.  If not, apologize profusely.
