They worked the prurient interest bit as much as the POSSIBLY could for a PG-13 TV audience. Then the had the audacity at the end to preach that sex for money should be banned because of the tragedy that happened to one escort in LV.
Maybe we should outlaw marriage the next time a marriage gone sour ends in the death of one or both "partners."
Dateline really scooped the rest of the country with that story. Who would have guessed that you could find hookers in Las Vegas?
Some other story suggestions for Dateline to pursue:
1. A story about how it rains a lot in Seattle. 2. A story about how people drink too much during Mardi Gras. 3. A story about the number of old people that retire to Florida. 4. A story about how there is corn growing in Iowa.
The American public needs to be informed about these and other shocking stories.
Definitely came across as a Sweeps Week story. Pretty lame after the big buildup. Everyone with an IQ over 75 knew that the 'family friendly' stuff was just a cheesy marketing campaign - adult fun has been and will always be readily available.
If I were very wealthy I'd pay one of those female 'relationship' private eyes to see if she could convince Stone Phillips or some married NBC/GE execs to hit on her. And air the tape on Fox News Channel.
This kind of story with insider help sounds like a bad thing to me. Let the general public suspect that the ladies in the bar are working. You don't have to confirm it.
