I have an upcoming trip planned and was wondering about elevators and security at The Cromwell.  Is it "provider friendly?" I am happy to meet my date at the bar, but let's be honest...is there anything better than hearing that knock on your hotel room door...knowing that a beautiful, charming lady (or 2) is on the other side

Isn't better to meet them downstairs and take them up with you?  I know it is nice to have a knock on the door.  Although I have gone upstairs a few times and knocked on doors too.  The provider might feel more comfortable meeting you downstairs

At the elavators. Early in the evening, say before 8pm, I didn't notice security. But I prefer to meet the ladies downstair in the bar. I hate waiting in my room, alone waiting for someone who is late. Although not all are late. Notice how I said "Not all" so don't jump on my ass. Plus I get to chit chat with CG''s at the bar while I'm waiting.....just in case...lol.

Yes, they have security at the elevators. No key, no pass, lol... I always request to meet downstairs first just to break the ice and ease up any nerves... Its a bit of an added security measure for both parties as well.

There is no security at the elevators in the day but in the evening there is security checking keys so you will have to come down.
