Couple Questions for the natives

A week away from annual trip. I have a bad habit of playing slots.  I know, I know, not very smart. I just really enjoy the adrenaline rush when the first 2 reels hit 7.  I know there’s very little chance of the third one being a 7 or better yet, 3 times multiplier.  But it does happen.....occasionally. So where are the loosest slots.   Are they better downtown than the strip ?

Secondly,  I really hate smoke. I don’t think there are any non smoking casinos in Vegas. Aren’t some better ventilated than others. It aggravates me to have a good run going on a slot machine or table game and a smoker lights one next to me. It seems to happen frequently.

IMO slots are looser in Downtown.

But doesn’t have a casino. Walk over to Cosmo or  Aria and gamble there.  The newer casinos have better ventilation than the  older ones.  As the previous poster said there are those that believe the slots are looser downtown.

Slots are loosest in downtown but the lucky dragon on Sahara is brand new and has clean ventilation

..  they would not have a problem filling each and every one of the rooms regularly.
 The place would be packed!

The non smoking casino in Biloxi is probably the quietest. Though it is my favorite.

Speaking of the Lucky Dragon, parking is free, and they have the best ice machine I've ever seen. You get perfect, firm little cubes of ice out of that thing; I'm still impressed. And you  can walk to Golden Steer no matter how drunk you are, it literally shares a wall with the pool area at LD.

I personally haven’t stayed there but friends of mine have and they love it. Super lowkey hotel that’s cheaper during the week and easily accessible to get in and out of only down side is it’s a little off the beaten path. But I’ve onlt heard good things about it . And it’s worker friendly per them.

Memories...... pleasant ones.... giggles.

Well, I'm with Kat on this one. Everybody says the slots are looser downtown....

I found the casinos on the strip to be cool.

Harrahs, MGM, and the Flamingo.....

I thought most casinos have a non smoking section..

I am smoker, I try not sit next to non smokers, don't wanna mess up their mojo...

Good luck on a rockin machine and tables

Lisa

My last visit to Vegas, I only saw one person smoking at the Cosmo...and I spent 3 long days there (i.e. I lost).
Same for Aria - very little smoking.
Noticed that Venetian have re-modeled their casino floor - so the new carpet smell has replaced the smoke smell.

Red Rock Casino has a nice non-smoking section.

I have spent time there. Nice suggestion.
...  although I was meaning a completely completely non-smoking resort not just a section.  :)
I can bet everyone of my friends and family members would stay and gamble there.
