I am booking at the Aria, they have a nice corner suite and then they have the Sky suites. Are the Sky suites worth the extra $ and if so are there any issues with extra security that might make it difficult to hobby? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Aria has security by the elevators at main tower and  at Sky suite tower .
Security is 24/7 although from personal experience during the day time security was relaxed
at both towers.
I was able to walk by security like I belong and get up to the rooms on my own.
The later at night it was , the more difficult with out showing a room key.

May not be everyone's experience. but is mine .
I don't know maybe my big boobs and nice smile just throws the security guards off  LOL LOL LOL

Aria corner suites are very nice.
Sky suites in my taste is over rated . Not much to brag about unless you have the need for a dinning room table and wet bar/kitchen .
I thought the lay out of the sky tower suites are weird .........but don't know if all the rooms in the sky tower are like that or I just happen to always go to the same type of suite.

The only one thing I did love and think is pretty cool about the Sky tower suites is the high tech toto Japanese  toilet (   I think that is what they are called )

So I guess the question is - what is the difference in price ? how much more $$ ??

I don't know how housekeeping , maintenance and other guest services are ,since I never spent an overnight at either tower.
I understand that some have complained about sky tower service , maintenance  and housekeeping but maybe at that time they were short on staff .
or maybe people expected so much more , due to the high price.

Hope this helps
xoxo CindySpice

On a 3 night stay going with the Sky suite instead of the corner suite adds about $500. Thanks for the info. I think I will save the $500 for a companion.

Damn Aria's corner suite. Dude, you should check out the Cosmopolitan. First of all, all of the Cosmo's rooms are suites. Second, and here's the deal sealer: Their terrace one bedroom suites on the right side (east side) of the building are damn near directly over the Bellagio fountains. AND, you can see the ENTIRE strip. It was so cool walking outside to see the water show from the top. If you do decide to stay there you can also get a terrace wrap around suite that also has a fountain/strip view but that part of the hotel is further back. I preferred the terrace one bedroom to be honest with you. simply tell them you want a room close to the fountain show. Go to you tube and type in cosmopolitan terrace one bedroom.and you can see the view that i'm talking about. Get a room that ends in an uneven number between 3 and 9. For example 3895/3999. I was higher up in 6997 and the view was still spectacular. Try to get 30th or 40th floor because you can hear the music from the water show clearly.

My experience at Cosmo was just as he described it, and Aia just can't be any nicer.  Those Terrace 1-bedrm suites can't be beat!  Just don't gamble seriously there, as their double-deck 21 games now only pay 6/5 for BJ, which is ludicrous.

The Vdara is a one minute walk to the Aria.  They have a corner suite and an executive corner suite with more ammenities and a cheaper price than the Aria.  MHO the views from most of the Aria suck.  If you get an executive corner suite at Vdara and request a room ending in 002 you get a view of the strip all the way to the Strat, 80% view of the bellagio fountain the mountains and the airport if you get a room high enough.  And the price is much less then the corner suites at Aria.  Granted the Cosmo still has better views and balconies but I prefer gambling at Aria.  It's a much longer walk to the Aria or Bellagio from the Cosmo.

I stay at Vdara all the time and have gotten more than my share of compliments on the suite.  The executive suite has two bathrooms, full kitchen including full size fridge and ice maker. 180 degree windows all around the suite.

Plus it's a short walk to Bellagio and Monte Carlo as well as being an M life property.  If you have an M life card depending on the color you can also get a discount at Vdara.

I stay at Vdara and gamble at the Aria.

Checked all 3 and for whatever reason I am getting a better package price at the Aria. At this point my eyes are bleeding from checking every travel site out there.

Agreed on the advice from Simmonse41 if it's the room that matters the most. No shortage of the rave reviews from the ladies on this board about those terraces... Lol.

Cosmo rooms were originally planned to be Condos and then the developers went BK. The vast majority of the condos were turned into hotel rooms and the Deutsche Banksters ended up owning Cosmo. Great rooms and a great place to hang out but certainly not a good place to gamble.

Were'nt you contemplating actually booking an Aria Sky Suite? Aren't those suites significantly more expensive than their corner suites? And I assume one of the major selling points of the corner or sky suite is the view, am I correct? And of course the extra space. But now you imply that price is actually a sticking point. If I knew that, then I wouldn't have mentioned the Cosmo. Yes, Aria can be gotten on hotwire for as little as 90 per night weekday and 100-120 on some weekends, at least for the basic rooms. So I do understand why you seem to be stuck on it. But damn dude, make a decision already. Basically it boils down to what you're looking for. But I tell you what: I've done The Venetian, Palazzo, and Encore, which are all suites. I've stayed in a salon suite at the Bellagio that actually faced the fountains, Really nice suites at the Mgm Grand, Mandalay Bay and the Mirage. But I just can't describe what it's like to walk OUTSIDE onto your terrace, sit down or stand while sipping a cocktail, as you view the fountain show and the heart of the strip. It's also pretty cool to see all the hustle and bustle that takes place on the strip, which is just to the right.  By the way, an arab friend of mine booked a corner suite at Aria and I went to visit him before heading out. Let me tell You: NO comparison to the Cosmo. Yeah let's face it. The cosmo's  rooms cost a bit more, and I've never seen them discounted on any travel site. But are they really THAT much more expensive than the corner suite at Aria. And I don't mean to be an ass, but how does one go from considering a Sky Suite at Aria, to looking for the cheapest rates on travel sites.  Hell, I'd hate to see what the fuck you go through in choosing a provider.

Lighten up Francis!  Have you never shopped for value versus price?  Money is not the issue.  I simply asked if the Sky Suites with the extras (Limo transport, Concierge, Lounge, etc.) was worth it.  Just because I have money doesn't mean I want to blow it needlessly.

I don't travel to Vegas as often as you obviously do, so I am simply asking for a little inside advice.  To give you an example though when I was searching the Cosmo was 15-20% higher in price.  Now obviously you can't put a price on something cool like a terrace, but I don't plan on being in the room enough to enjoy it anyway.

When I was searching and reading reviews the Cosmo got good marks on the room, but the gambling was rated poorly, and the people's reviews said that the clubs were full of hipsters and douchebags.  Based on that info, why would I want to get a room with a terrace, but have to leave the property to enjoy the other aspects of Vegas?

And guess what, I have been doing my research on providers as well and have a few that I absolutely want to see when I am there, and they should know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are the ones I want to see and not just some random one I picked.

Not sure what got you so worked up about a dude asking questions about a suite, but damn man remind me not to discuss politics or religion with you.

great spot to entertain an escort. Nothing like alfresco sex. And btw, this is a fuck board, so don't be so sensitive. If you want travel tips go to a travel board.

Point taken on the alfresco sex. Can't argue one bit with that. So since this is a fuck board, is it better to fuck in a corner suite or a sky suite?  Just kidding!

there is no casino. As long as a person is not gambling but wants a nice suite with plenty of space this is the hotel right off of the strip.
