Coming out in June and wondering which would be the preferred hotel to hobby. I also like to pool by day.

Both properties are great but you will have to meet your guests downstairs.
I like Encore rooms better.

Plus both Wynn and Encore share the Sunset Pool, which is topless.

Definitely agree that the pool is awesome if you bring your own company. If that's not in your plans you should find some way to work it in. Prefer encore.

I've stayed at The Wynn 3 times but have ventured to The Encore side. The Encore has the suite look. The Encore side seems a little quieter compared to The Wynn due to less hustle bustle.

We are regulars at Encore. Parking (valet & self) are close to the lobby.  There is a way to skip key security by cutting through lobby bar.  Also, adult pool on weekends has a DJ and a great vibe.

wasn't too impressed by the Wynn.  Casino floor pretty bland.  Rooms are big, but lot of wasted space.  Only thing I think it had going is the floor to ceiling  windows.   Encore rooms look lot more interesting.

Wynn is a bit better, but both are great.

While I would agree the rooms are nicer at Encore based on the wall mirrors and suite with a separate living area, the Wynn has its positives too. When I am done with my behind closed door activities I like to end the night playing some craps or blackjack and the gaming area is better on the Wynn side. Not to mention the Wynn has a much better traffic flow to watch all the eye candy.

I agree 100% about the eye candy on the gaming floor. I see the gorgeous fitness type gals in the form fitting expensive evening dresses with the guys. I would like to try the Encore since I've already stayed a The Wynn to do a comparison.

You'll walk by the shops and if there's something going on at XS night club that night, you'll see plenty of eye candy waitning to go in or coming out, you might see a who's who walking into the club.....
