I went once in 1985 to the Chicken Ranch in Pahrump (had played in a high stakes golf match at the local muni and won a bunch of cash). Oddly enough my father was with my friends and me. We had a drink or two in the brothel's parlor, and then they brought out the line-up of girls (about 15 if I recall correctly). Each one stepped forward and introduced herself and tried to look sexy and appealing. When they were finished I looked at my dad and said "are they paying us, or do they think we're paying them?" Seriously, I don't think there was one of them that I would have given a second look if I saw her in a casino or nightclub. We had a nice laugh and headed for the car to go back to The Dunes and some gambling. I've never been tempted to go to a Nevada brothel again.
