...I work with a group of local pet helpers, who deal with mainly cats, you may know them (they have staged a few protests and have been on the news infact) they are called F.L.O.C.K. (for the love of cats and kittens), and they are having trouble. This season has yielded far too many kittens, and adoptions are very slow. They are out of housing at all facilities and the foster homes as well; and worse, they have been cut off by the vet they use because they haven't been able to pay the outstanding bill. They take in all types of sick, injured and abandoned cats, even if they are seemingly on the brink of death, and they try to come through for many other pets as well... but now, with this recent blow the most helpful part of their organization has been slowed to a halt.

While I am currently trying to come up with self funded ways to raise some money for them, in the meantime any donation would help... they need to come up with a little over 4,000 as soon as possible... here is the information below incase anyone can find it in their hearts and wallets to send in some aid-- thank you so very much...

Please call in your donation to West Charleston
                Animal Hospital
                (702)362-7387
They will accept a donation by credit card. Simply tell them you are wanting to
make a donation towards the F.L.O.C.K. bill. Or you may go in as well, if you would like a reciept...

If you would like to make a tax deductable donation, please visit or send donations to:

                    F.L.O.C.K.
            1930 Village Center Circle,
                      #3-704,
                Las Vegas, NV  89134

Feel free also to visit thier website for further information on thier organization, and updates on the pet crisis and vet bill situation...

Thank you!

Dani

Dani, thank you for caring about our furry feline friends. I have some stuff to donate and also made a contribution. I know every little bit helps, especially when lots of little bits add up.
So I encourage all to chip in any ammount.
Also, they are in need of the following:
sheets
rugs
towels
mats (anything for our cats to sleep on)
transfer cages and humane traps
premium canned and dry cat and kitten food
cat litter
large plastic empty water containers
cat toys
scratching posts
cat condos
bleach/detergent
grooming brushes/combs
Please consider allowing the kitties some comfort by donating above items.
Again, Dani, thank you. I didn't know the organization existed untill I read your post.
