It is early days in the marking of escorts, but I have plowed through every review on every significant board and being a statistician by trade I can now rate girls by your reviews. As at 8/24/2001 the top fifteen girls are-Sierra,L.J.Montana,Roxy,Cindy Spice.Tori,Angel,Gina de Palma,Chrissy Tyler,Mary o'Malley,Brie Michaels,Logan,January,Tina Babe,Catrine,Chrissy Ann.These are roughly in order but it is your taste that decides.

the methodology you applied to produce the rankings?  I've had some statistical and analytical training and experience myself.  Some half-hearted attempts to develop criteria and assign values to evaluate reviews and rank providers (by popularity) met with frustration.  Did come away some interesting observations...some reviews were so similar in writing style and choice of words that I suspect they were canned variations (or plagiarized).  Also, a comparison of "reviews" posted on various city/general message boards versus those in the actual review section revealed that a large number of clients don't submit a review.  This is particularly true for Vegas, perhaps due to the large number of visitors/tourists versus locals.

dont forget there are providers AND clients that prefer not to kiss and tell for legal reasons/privacy issues- especially high profile men....  some men also prefer women who only take an occasional date now and then, xoxo Lisa ps quality not quantity is my opinion- we all have one right? just a thought...

i definatley agree.
i happen to be a logical/analytical thinker my self and after reading the same reviews over and over i came up with the same conclusion you did..very similar writing styles etc etc...
being that you are somewhat of an expert on analysis and statistics only seconds my thoughts and doubts that i'v had all along.
logically speaking,an affluant ,upscale Gentleman doesn't have the time nor the energy to actually take the time to sit down and write a review or tell on himself in essence, that would only be contradicting to what he is trying to accomplish.
in laymen terms to have fun without anyone knowing or even suspecting anything let alone be invlolved with this whole situation..
they may take a minute or two to look and decide which one they would like to call but i doubt that any smart gentleman would want to engage in any activities with a person that is all over the reviews and sees numerous ...........etc.
you get the picture..
conclusion:most reviews are very un reliable to say the least ,there is only one way to find out..to experience it yourslef after all life doesn't come with any guarantees and half the fun is going out and taking a calculated chance..
as i always say"Life is too short, enjoy it while you can".

My analysis of the reviewed concluded that the data points are far too variable to accurately come up with a ranking system.  However, the info in individual reviews is very valuable to me...particularly here on TER where you can directly compare all the reviews submitted by a particularl individual.  If we've both seen the same provider, that gives me an additional data point based on my firsthand experience.  Don't think privacy is an issue regardless of the gentleman's means.  Likewise, if he has the time to do any research at all to select a provider, the 3-5 minutes it takes to submit a review is insignificant.  And I don't classify that as "kiss and tell", more like sharing.  I respect a provider's position on submitting a review which vary from "don't review me" to "please, please submit a review".

Obviously not every customer posts a review-so my methods are not perfect-but I do check for duplications and aliases-I am a member of mensa and a CPA-I LIVE WITH FIGURES.Lisa has high scores but does not have enough reviews to make my survey. What I am saying is the girls on my list may or may not be the best but they have pleased a lot of people.

i would agree but there is only one catch..
what if most reviews ,and i can state that with confidence, are made by the same people over and over again, now it is either that person is totally in love with the provider to always be there for a promo or a plug opportunity or to answer every ones questions no matter what it may be "oh yeh see so and so she is the best"come on do you really think people are that gullable to have the same person responding to all inquiries ,it's either that person:A- works for the provider .
           B- is the provider
C- has no life and should get one.
come on please ,i know that professionals don't have the time,i barely have time to answer your response..
like i said :"there is only one way to find out, experience it your self"
believe me i'v done my home work ,i know  a few e mail addresses and particular handles that need to be looked into for authenticity purposes ,but in the long run nothing matters except whether you are successful in reaching your goals or not, enjoying yourself, while making new friendships  along the way with the finer things life has to offer is always a plus-
have a great day..

Thought I was the premier cynic...but you outgun even me.  Sure there are duplicitous review sources and some by those who are infatuated by the provider.  If in fact you have reason to believe e-mail addresses/handles that may be involved in such action they should be reported to TER Staff who has the ability to investigate by tracing the IP addresses.  TER guidelines minimize duplicitous reviews and one feature that I make excellent use of is communicating directly with other reviewers about a particular client.  I have developed several contacts with which I frequently exchange info with and has proven to be 98% reliable, with the 2% attributed to differences in taste or the YMMV factor.  Truly successful professionals know how to manage their time...I did for 30 years and at 50 am now taking a couple years off (or more) to enjoy the finer things in ife.

otherwise they ban you as a repeat customer.  I asked the gals why - they don't like the attention it attracts.

You forgot the disclaimer!
The person you rate as roughly first doesn't even have a review on TER,apparently you don't think this board is of much value. The first four have something in common on TBD,they each have they own cheerleading squad of clients. One of the ladies on your list  is well known for solicting reviews & offering discounts if you post a review with what she wants people to hear. She was also caught on chicago TBD recently self posting a review. Another lady in your list generally gets some great reviews IF she shows up.

Need a thrill you have some interesting info- thanks for sharing- just the point i was getting at...;) its almost like a national enquirer magazine where you cant always belive it just because SOMEONE (could be the ladies themselves or FAN ) writes it ....xoxo Lisa

"Needathrill's" info may be accurate....apparently you believed it to be gospel.  However, following your train of thought, the info in his post could be totally erroneous or not a true reflection of the provider based on his single sampling or from, heaven forbid, notoriously inaccurate reviews.  I agree with the comment about cheerleading squads whose posts contribute little of value (many remind me of C- students of Creative Writing 101) and whose authors often don't submit reviews or submit ones that state YMMV in lieu of answering the question/providing the requested info. Regardless, I'm convinced reviews remain the single best first-source for identifying ladies a client may wish to patronize.  Communicating directly with the reviewers, the provider (and her web site if she has one) and  search of the boards are logical next steps.

like i said in my previous notes...
nothing beats experience, two people can give you a total different opinion on the same provider under the same conditions..
inotherwords ,if you really want to get scientific about the methodology behind reviews,if you sample 2 clients and one provider, all factors to be exactley the same (place, time of day,event,restaurant...etc.)one would think that they should both have the same opinion about the experience if you take the reviews literally..
i think not, you'll find that even with both clients experiencing the same person and conditions they are psychologically percieving the experience in accordence to their prospective past and present experiences.for example you and i might see the same movie but when asked whether we liked the movie one might say yes and the other no..
the same theory apply to taste /enjoyment/satisfaction...etc when reading VS. experiencing an event or in this case someone's company..
i hope i wasn't too deep or involved in my thinking that one wouldn't get the conclusion of it all..
nothing beats one's own experience..
take care..                     xoxo Lisa :)

When looking for what film I may want to see, I read the reviews of several critics.  I rely on and respect the opinion of those critics who views are similar to mine and have steered me correctly in the past. I do the same with reviews here.  Although not as scientific because it's based solely on customer input, TER is the closest thing we have to a Consumer Reports of this business.

Well at least my rankings have provided some interesting discourse and I have taken most of the comments on board. In answer to some of the points-1.I did the list in the first place for two main reasons, first it seems a waste to have useful information without interpreting it in some way and secondly two other boards rank girls with no obvious criteria. At least mine are based on statistically analysed reviews. In one list of the top fifteen west coast girls, two have actually retired.2.Doctoring reviews will only pay off in the short term because if you do not live up to your marks someone will soon bring the provider down to earth 3.There are faults in all statistics so there is a margin of error but I would see the main purpose in rankings is to take the customer away from the rip-offs and direct them towards those providers who are known and trusted. 4.I credit most people with common sense and would not expect anyone to book a provider just on a ranking, they would still check sites to fit in with their personal taste and their wallet.
