I'll be staying at Ballys next week, and I have a couple of questions. One: is there any bar girl scene here? And two, how is security: always around, never around, around at night?
Don't know about the bar girl scene at Bally's. Probably not as popular as other strip hotels but should be decent.
Security at any strip casino is always around. They will check for your room key at the guest elevators (usually only during evening/night hours) so you will generally have to accompany your guest to your room. Most established independents have room keys so it's usually not a problem for them to come up to your floor (unless your floor requires the room key to be swiped).
Do a search of messages (Find Message link is lower left corner of the forum listings), going back 300 or more days for "bar girl" or "casino girl" and you should find some older messages discussing the scene.
It's considered a secondary site. It's not security friendly so most bar girls go elsewhere. Doubtful, but you might catch a lucky break and find someone there.
Ok, I know this is gonna sound dumb, but I have no clue what a bar girl is!? What does a bar girl do? If someone could make that clear for me, then I might be able to enjoy some of the posts here.
A bar girl is a lady who works in one of the various bars in town. She may or may not be an indpendent, she may or may not have a pimp, she may or may not be a cash and dash lady, and she may or may not be LE. These are some of the reason I stick with the various fine independent ladies who are on the internet. My cyber buddy Cheese, can give you more info about the bar girl action in town.

Glad to help out. For the rest of the question we are going to have to wait for chessewhiz. He knows the best places to hang to meet bar girls. Might do some searching, as this talked about often.
I don't have a lot of experience with bar/casino girls but since they are free to choose which casino property to hang out in, it can vary from day to day who you might find. While other places have schedules (e.g., brothels and gentlemen's clubs) so you might have an idea who might be working at a particular place, bar girls are the Vegas equiv. of streetwalkers (and high priced ones at that). Like all streetwalkers, they can be harassed (arrested by LE and/or banned from property by casino security). Best places to look are the casino bars and lounges. It helps to look the part (single male, looks likes he have money). If anything, you're looking for bar girls for the chase (find one that suits your tastes, haggling for a price, and hopefully a good time in your room). Be forwarned that most bar girls are the quick one-shot and out types (I like to use the phrase wham bam thank you ma'am). You should also keep on guard for "cash and dash".
Best value? A good independent will provide you with the allocated time for a set fee (usually between $300-500/hour, booked at least a day in advance). You'll find bar girls are generally more expensive and leave before an hour is up. Legal brothels have a slight advantage vs bar girls in that you won't have a cash and dash and no LE issues (although you have to deal with a 40-50 min trip to and from Pahrump; find the woman of your choice, haggle for services, and have a good (and safe/covered) time; then take another 40-50 min ride back to Vegas, maybe slightly under the influence if you drank a few while in Pahrump).
