I stand in awe at your Zen-like concentration. I mean, I think I could have handled the surprise roommate coming out of the shower, but a construction worker walks by in media res, gives you a thumbs up, and you take it in stride?

       “Atmosphere –interesting.” A classic understatement. How about "Atmosphere- construction zone."  I would have been so out of there.

        As one who was once greatly distracted by a lady’s cat who insisted on watching, I can see I have much to learn.

       “Yes grasshopper” would not be an inappropriate response.
