Ask the lady in question...

Figure out who you want to see and ask her if she has a preference.  Most of the trouble seems to be related to how easy it is to drive to the hotel.  The Monte Carlo and the Imperial Palace are a pain in the ass to get into to park; hotels with access that doesn't involve the strip are the best.  I always like Mandalay Bay, easy access and no security on the elevators.  Although, the jacuzzis at the Luxor are nice.

BTW, double and single rates are the same.

Before I stayed at the MGM Grand and I didn't have aproblem,
But I have read rumors or reports where a person had an appointment with a lady and she had a difficult time going up to his room.

So, are some strip casino hotel's better than others when it comes to this ?

Also, I had heard it is good manners to meet the lady in the lobby and walk with her up to and into your room and perhaps maybe to escort her back to the lobby when she is ready to leave.

So, what are some of your thoughts on the subject ?
Are some hotels better than others and if so can you name a few ?

Also, should I have gone down to the lobby and walked up with the lady to my room ?

I thought maybe that the rooms were booked for one, in my case, and if the hotel staff noticed me going back into my single occupancy room with someone it might be a red flag or they might want to then charge me for double occupacy for my entire stay.

I guess those might be foolish concerns at the MGM Grand. I mean it has tens of thousands of rooms.

How can the cleaning staff and security posssibly keep all the guests status memorized ?

I know these may sound like dumb questions....
But, If I make an appointment with a lovely lady --- I would like to know that she would have an easy time getting to my room and leaving it later...

Providers opinions on this are also very welcome and would be greatly appreciated...

You should not have a problem at any of the hotels.   Sometimes they will come up to the room, sometimes you'll meet them downstairs.   The security people are not going to be taking notes on who goes to your room.  It is best to walk them either to the Valet parking or back to their car.   I've stayed at the Orleans, Treasure Island and the Monte Carlo.  Have never had a problem at any one of them.   By the way MGM only has just over 5000 rooms.

The only problem you might run into is if that particular girl has gotten herself in trouble trying to work "it" in that particular hotel. Girls who aren't careful can get themselves 86ed from different hotels by trying to work the floors and bars. The security knows them and won't let them in or near the place. But, if they are not on that list security could care less. They may need to call up to your room to confirm she is a guest of yours, or if your gentlemanly you might want to go down and meet her. But either way the guy guarding the elevators is not going to stress. I mean it's just the normal everyday scenerio for them. "Nothing to see here, move along"

Girls can be careful all they want and still get 86ed from the property. Grounds for getting 86ed varies from casino to casino and/or security working that night. Other reasons besides getting caught that girls are 86ed:

1) Overstaying their welcome. Girls spending too much time in one bar or hang out too many nights in one property in a row.

2) Soliciting a hotel guest and the guest complains to security.

3) Look under 21. They'll card them EVERYWHERE. If they are under 21 and appear to be working, they'll sure to get 86ed out of every hotel in Vegas.

Thousands of people (male and female) are 86ed from hotels each year. No security guard could possibly memorize that list.

However, one of security's tactics is perform "sweeps" of the bar. They go up and ask all unescorted girls for their ID. Security (or Las Vegas Metro) will check the 86ed list and in the case of LE (Las Vegas Metro), they'll check for outstanding warrants.

I never seen or heard of any security guard or police officer harass an girl who is with a guy UNLESS she is a know fugitive of the law, known troublemaker, been 86ed several times from the property and the guard remembers 86ing her, or appears/known to be under the age of 21.

My whole point, security is going to look the other way. They are not about to scare a guest by harassing their date. Otherwise, they may forever lose that guest to another hotel.

Any hotel will do ... Some you may have to go down and meet her because of security at the elevator ... but security could care less ... as for escourting out I always ask if they'd like me to but, that's up to you and your lady.

I stayed at the MGM on single occupancy basis last time I was in Vegas and had no problems at all with clients coming to my room.  The only problem I had was continually getting lost in the massive casino so I will stay at a smaller hotel next time!
