National Finals Rodeo in town all week. I know they talked about changing cities before and LV put up big money to keep it in town..
Is it a busy week for providers? Average for other conventions and such? Anyone have any good stories to share about cowboys? Any clients want to keep their hat on while doing it? Requests for ropes? Tell us some funny stories. Clients and/or providers.

For the most part the people who come to NFR don't see lots of ladies, or do much other then eat, go the the rodeo and sleep.

From the  Country music that's playing in the casino to the drink specials at the bar that consist of $5 crown and Coke or $5 Jack Daniels shots.  

Tonight all I saw was a sea of cowboy hats and cowboy boots.  

It's a fun time and I have met some great folks in town for the rodeo.  

Las Vegas has so many different events that come to town and bring in such a variety of visitors. It makes for a very interesting place to reside.

Is similar to the one with NASCAR weekend.

It's not a business event.  So, most guys that come to Las Vegas to attend those events, tend to bring their wives and girlfriends with them to Las Vegas for the event.  (That is, if they should have a wife or girlfriend.)  As such, seeing a provider is not possible and/or wanted.  

It's the business events (i.e., conventions), when guys are away from wives/girlfriends, that will make things busy for providers.

I was once told by a provider that NFR was actually a slow time.  As stated above most bring families.  Another big convention she told me about that caught me off guard was the MAGIC show (I assume this is still on).  I thought damn there cant be that many magicians out there.  She told me that it was a clothing/apparel show and that most of the men attending are gay.
