Writing a controversial review for the purpose of getting VIP status seems counter productive to me.

I have written many reviews but only have 3 white list entries myself. I have never asked for one. I don't believe a lack of white listing should be a gauge for one's credibility.

The truth of these completely bogus and fake reviews that many of us as providers have had appear on our profile isn’t the result of an actual hobbyist's experience.  Not at all.  

To shed a little light on a little known public truth, I can tell you with absolute certainty that MANY IF NOT ALL of the false reviews that appear on any provider with a relatively stable and positive profile is the direct result of another provider.  The nameless and undetectable provider launches the review, for whatever asinine and spiteful reason; via (I’m sorry to say) enlisting the help of one of her white knights.  Said white knight writes and submits the review and voila!!!! The shit hits the fan.

Take solace Sam that you aren't alone in this and there are those of us out there who understand, have experienced the exact same thing and are here for you should you need an ear.

The misconception that the review system is always operating the way honorable hobbyists and providers alike would assume that it is, is sadly false.  Just like having a virus infiltrate your computer, less honorable women/providers infiltrate the review system and can systematically deteriorate a genuine providers stats, standing in the community and most importantly her ability to take care of herself and her family etc. Planting a seed of malicious and willful doubt on a provider's reputation can and has had severe and terrible financial repercussions.  

While this is a competitive industry and marketing and business are the foundation, this type of slanderous and untrue propaganda goes on all the time.  It isn't fair, it is far from necessary, it muddies the waters up for hobbyists who are new and seasoned alike, it isn't going to stop and all that it will result in eventually is a karmic debt for the individual who felt the need to this type of thing based on the weak and pitiful feelings of fear, jealousy, hate or whatever the hell...

What is done in the dark will always come to the light.

Follow TER policy and request to have it removed.  Another thing that I learned from a wise and very well respected fellow provider, is to first try sending a pm to the reviewer who posted the false review prior to contacting TER admin and ask HIM to retract it on his own knowing it was false.  In this respect, you extend an olive branch of sorts, exhibit absolute fairness as well as giving the individual an opportunity to get right before having to add to admin's already long list of shit to do.  If that doesn't work, and you need to add to admin's list of shit to do, then you do it.  The system is in place for a reason and you have every right to use it as the rules and policies of this site have set forth.
