Anyone else as frustrated as I am with providers going AWOL with no call, no email, no nothing?  I realize that things come up (including a high roller that is winning), but this is the second trip to Vegas where I had an established provider blow me off (and not in a good way either), causing waiting games and last minute scrambles to try to plan something else.  I don't want to flame names on a public board, but this seems to be a bigger problem in Vegas where demand is high.  This was an appt set well in advance and I didn't think she'd flake - really frustrating.

I totally feel your frustration my friend. If I were you I would put their names in your post.Maybe that will deter them from standing you up again in the future. But I am more of an a$$hole to those that stand me up and waste my time than most people. I am lucky I haven't run into this problem much(yet). Although I am new to this online posting,reviews, etc. I would not hesitate to post her name for all to see.

We get plenty of NC/NS clients as well.  In a business where time is literally money, its more detrimental to us than ruining our evening.  Though I have heard some guys do it because they double or triple book just to be sure they get to see someone and have heard some providers flake.  And sometimes something genuinely happens that interferes with appointments.  A phone call at least is appreciated when it is unavoidable to cancel.  In any case its a big problem on both ends.

I agree it is a problem on both ends. And I would suggest the same  for you. Post the name of the NC/NS client to deter him from standing you up in the future.

You want to see a provider disappear in the desert?  Nothing will destroy her career faster than word of her outing the identity of clients publicly.

Whoa!  Most providers would never out a client publicly unless he had posed a danger in some way.  Even then, we have our back channels in which to alert other ladies.  Yes, a NC/NS is troublesome, but posting a person's name publicly can destroy lives.  Usernames are another thing...but even then usually it takes more than a NC/NS.

You have to be more careful than in "the good ole Vegas days" when a body could go undisturbed long enough for the lime to make it disappear.  These days, desolate land will become the site of a new shopping mall before the body even starts to give off that stinky smell.

Not that I know anything about any of this, of course.  Maybe I should stop reading those whodunnits, and go back to watching porn.

If you'd like to take clients to task for nc/ns, maybe you should start a thread rather than hijacking his - just my opinion. Guys don't double or triple book because 'they've heard some providers flake' - they do it because providers flake on them all the time. It can be more than a ruined evening - lots of guys actually work hard for their money, save up for a vegas fling and are there for a limited time. They want to live the fantasy, plan ahead and when one or two providers blow them off it ruins that years vacation.

I don't believe that goes on much any more Phil.

I was in no way trying to hijack his thread.  I believe I made that clear by stating 'its a big problem on both ends'.  Puck, maybe you need to see a provider soon and relax a bit - you seem to take things far too seriously.  While I understand some guys put a lot of effort and even money (hotel room, etc) into a 'date', it is still, for the men, a hobby.  For us ladies, this is a business, our livelihood and repeated NC/NSs can be very damaging to our finances.  Why don't you read Cindy Spice's post below: http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?MessageID=52363&boardID=3&page=1  That may give you an idea of the extent of how much trouble a NC/NS can cause a provider.  It may not just be the loss of income from one appointment.  However, it is a part of the business and something we have to account for.  JUST LIKE you guys know its part of the business on your end and I guess you try to account for it by making multiple bookings (not that I am advocating that in any way).  I wish I did have advice for Bootylover as I would love to solve the problem for us all.

Bottom line is there really isn't much anyone can do about it.  This is not a business where people can really be held accountable.  Lies, rumors, fake reviews, fake identities, legal issues...and the list goes on.  There are plenty of unscrupulous and irresponsible ladies and gents in this game.  Like everything else in this town, this hobby is a gamble.  TER is a useful tool to lower the risk, but there is always a degree of risk - on BOTH sides.  

My apologies to Bootylover if he felt I was hijacking his thread.  :-&  That was not at all my intention.  Excuse me if I was under the impression this board was for hobbyists and providers alike.    I was merely attempting to express an understanding of his frustration.  Again, my apologies if I came across any other way.

I didn't feel like you hijacked the thread... But it seems that for those of us that plan, we just need to "plan" a backup appt.  This means someone always will get screwed (one of the providers) and the other will have a good evening screwing (that would be me).  Attempting to locate an available, reputable provider with an hour's notice on a weekend is a long shot.  All I wanted was a call, early enough to be able to plan something for that evening as an alternate to waiting and feeling like a stalker leaving yet another voice mail... just common courtesy.

I've raised hogs, they'll eat anything.  If you threw a human body into a pig pen with a half-dozen or so hogs in it, there would be nothing left of it the next morning. Absolutely nothing. This sounds sort of gross, but any farmer who raises hogs and other animals, and one of the other species dies, well.....  The only thing you never feed hogs is hog by-products.

For me the only reason a provider or client has a legit reason to no show with no cancel is because
a) They are in jail
b) They have a serious injury and are in the hospital with no way to call
c) They are dead

ok so as we all know by now having great bedroom skills doesn't translate to great administration skills like calling a client/provider if you need to cancel.

yeah I know guess it is kinda hard to call if your passed out too drunk or..............well figure it out.

So what can be done about it ?? well yes that is a tough one. TER doesn't allow reviews about no shows.

but here is one thing. Lets say a guy calls to cancel on me ,I am ok with that because he let me know.
If a client will no show,no cancel on me.......... he will never get to see me ever !!

You guys even when a lady no shows ,no calls ........you do give her another chance and even when she does it again ,you still book to see her,hoping this time she will show up.

Well news flash- she feels it is ok to no show, no cancel because anyways he will try to book me at a later time.

also if you step back and use your big head the signs were probably there that she was going to be a no show.

Next time,book a lady you want, If she flakes have phone numbers handy to try to reach others last minute,( don't double book )  yeah I know it is hard to get a top lady last minute , but it doesn't hurt to try.

This works pretty good for me here in Reno, Vegas might be different.

  No-show no-calls are common around here, especially with new or traveling providers. I usually do outcalls, not many providers offer incall. If a provider flakes on my outcall, not only am I disappointed in missing the experience, I'm also out the cost of the room. Certainly, I can, and have, called a list of backups, but by the time I find one who'll do short notice, I'm so flustered it's difficult to enjoy the session. If I can't be at my best, I feel it's not fair to the provider either. So I've learned to double book, but not like you'd think.

  If I'm seeing a new provider I'll book her at say, 5pm. Then I'll book one of the milfs that I've seen before, and know to be reliable, at say, 8pm. If they both show, I get 2 sessions. If the first one doesn't (all too common), the second one will relieve the disappointment.

  Of course, this is all based on the idea of knowing a few reliable providers to fall back on, but it might also work using two unknowns. The beauty of it is I'm rarely disappointed, and I don't have to cancel any provider.

This is fine if you're willing to have two sessions (financially and physically).
