I was curious about something and looking for insight.  Over the past few months I began planning my up coming trip.  I had communicated with three different ladies and made plans with them.  Since then I noticed their rates changed.  One of them doubled, then went back to the original rate, but then went up again.  I guess my question is What do I do?  I don't want to insult anyone by mentioning it.  I set a price range for myself and I don't go outside of that range.  If someone isn't in the range I don't contact them.  I am considering just canceling but am concerned they may get upset with that.  Any suggestions??  Again don't think I am being negative I truly believe a lady reserves the right to ask for whatever and by no means would I ever try to negotiate.

Just contact the lady and say, "I noticed your rate has increased since I booked my appointment. Are you still honoring the previous rate for pre booking? I have allotted my play funds for my visit so I may need to cancel if your new rates apply" This is honest and direct. It is not insulting at all. Better that you know now then end up with both you and her unhappy later.

It is better to ask the ladies than to cancel the appt.
Usually if an appt is set and if rates are changed before meeting most ladies will honor what their rates were at the time of booking.
I don't think it is negative it is better to ask and get an understanding than to sit and wonder you might be cancelling for no reason and might miss a great time. You don't want to do that so being honest is the best policy in your case.
Good luck to you I am sure things will work out for you.

If your booked and screen then there should be no problem with honoring the donation

Good Luck Have a great time!

I've seen that happen a few times, and when I've asked, the response has always been "I'll honor the rate posted at the time".
I seriously doubt any true professional would consider risking a "bait and switch" complaint.
Just be polite, ask to confirm that the original rate is honored and consider a tip if warranted.

It does suck when someone you've seen multiple times raises their rates and prices you out of their market.   It's happened to me a couple of times.   Some grandfather rates for frequent flyers, some don't.  Free enterprise in action.
