As much as I hate the ever-changing skyline, with it's disrespect of the city's history, the Stardust never a special place in my heart. Now, the Sands & the Dunes...sniffle, sniffle.
Ok so maybe the Sands and the Dunes are considered real "old Vegas" The true meaning of what Vegas was all about back in those days...........but still for me the Stardust holds many great memories........sniffle sinffle.
the stardust was the 1st hotel that i stayed at on my 1st trip to LV back when vegas was vegas and i had all my hair 
nail salons, dry cleaners and karate studios...that is what happens in Atlanta...
I agree with you Cindy, out of the 30 yrs that I have been coming to Vegas ...I have stayed at Stardust 25 years of them. Yes it may have out lived its time but oh what memories it left me.
