I saw an article in the LV Weekly about a sex providers convention held in Las Vegas. The article focused on "Amanda Brooks" who has written a book for providers and is an advocate for the rights of sex workers. The article stated that she was based in LV. There is no "Amanda Brooks" listed in the TER for LV providers. I was wondering if she was still working. Any info would be appreciated.

She travels the world teaching and speaking up for sex workes rights.  She has spent the last 3 months in China where I suspect she has returned to after the conference ended.

You wouldn't find her here on TER.  Part of her "business advice" to providers is to not allow reviews of themselves to be posted.

Additionally, can't you sort of verify a guy (and his dating activities if he's honest) that reviews?

I think that it is just a matter of preference. There are MANY ladies in this world who do not utilize the review system and do just fine.  If you market yourself properly then perhaps you don't need them but who really knows.  I can say that over 50% of my business comes from other venues rather than TER and in my world that is called diversifying.  All your eggs in one basket is not smart.

I do not use the reviews to verify a gent but rather to see if I think we will be a match on "type" and "services".

I like where it says things she enjoys doing, defying authority.
