Whats the situation with security at Vdara? Are the Elevators manned throughout the day?

And just by the visual, security looks tight by the elevators.

but if it's like other MGM resorts, a room key is required to operate the lobby elevators.

I always stay at Vdara and will be there Thanksgiving i love the rooms there. The bed  is very comfortable and the deep soaking tubs are awesome. The elevator area always has a security presence and you have to show your key and the elevator will not work without a key. Enjoy your nice and quiet stay at the V.

Walk downstairs, find the lady in question, give her a hug, flash your room card and bring her upstairs and fuck like rabbits, those guys don't care, I've done it multi times. or get 2 room cards at check in and give her one and you both flash  the cards

They don’t care really. I’ve only know of one who asked me where I was staying. She couldn’t goto one place because she was walked from the property before lol.

As others have mentioned you can slide your 2nd key to your provider and go up separately if you have colleagues/friends in hotel.
If not you can meet her in hotel or at the bar that is across from elevators grab a drink and then go up.
I like Vdara I had one of those two story suites it was very nice and a fabulous tub.
