I travel to vegas 2 or 3 times per year but just recently (within a year) started hobbying. I will be there for a week in May and will be looking to see 2 or 3 providers. Normally I stay at either Cesaers or Luxor. Are either of these kn own to be a problem?
Is there a general list of which hotels are better than others for hobbyists on the strip?

The Luxor requires the key to access the elevator so you will have to meet the girl downstairs.Ceasar has security at most towers. I don't know your budget but same range as the Luxor is the Montecarlo, which does not have security.

the Luxor is a dive, Cesears has some nice suites, there's a lot condos for rent that are really nice. I think the casinos are overrated. http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p173316

This security issue at the Casinos is getting me mad lol.  I can not fathom why if I go down to meet a lady I would have a problem taking her back to the room.  I have booked three nights at Harrahs because I have comps there.  I am seriously considering changing now but wonder which of the Harrah's properties would be best... and this problem in Vegas geeeesh

This is a question that gets asked all of the time, so Miss Tasha took the trouble of compiling a list two years ago, and updated it last April.

I have been staying at Paris for the last 6 years which is a Harrahs property and I never had any problems about ladies coming to my room, even late at night their is no security at the elevators.  Hope this helps.  Also Bally's is the same way as Paris.
