Is there anyone out there who can give me the comfort that I need, after getting knocked out last night of the Main Event. I played for almost 10 hours. Someone please comfort me.

Thanks,
Michael

they had a maximum of 6600 slots open this year but didn't hit it.  According to the guy doing the blog on ESPN.com about the event, he's reporting that they had slightly over 5500 people in the main event this year.

One of my friends played and said when he signed up Thursday morning the computer showed >6300 signed up.  Don't know how accurate that is....

Rumor has it that a lot of people who won internet entries from around the world never showed up.
