When I first started in the hobby, of course I had to learn a lot of acronyms. When I learned what YMMV means, I thought it was the coolest acronym of all, and I used to use it in some of my reviews. Since then, though, I have decided that it should be used sparingly, if at all. When you say YMMV in a review, it means that you got some special treatment that might not be available to everyone who reads your review. It is hard to say that without seeming a little arrogant, for one thing, but more importantly, the girl you are reviewing might not want the entire community to know that the special treatment you got is available to ANYONE! So I stopped using that acronym in reviews. If I thought I got some special treatment that might not be available to everyone, I just didn't mention it at all.
But YMMV is used quite a bit in the hobby today! When I see it used in a review, I understand that the reviewer was treated a little better, or maybe "differently" would be a better choice of words, than what is listed on the reviewee's profile. Some reasonable examples of YMMV are: DFK when her profile says "kisses without tongue" and swallowing when her profile says "spits it out". Another possible use for YMMV is that the girl spent some "off the clock" extra time with the client either before or after the session. A more extreme example of YMMV is doing Greek when her profile says "no" to anal.
With all that said, I think FrankyBoy5150 has taken YMMV to an extreme that is beyond the reasonable limit for YMMV! Here is an excerpt from one of his posts:
"As far as Jade I did see her. I thought the girl I saw was the girl in the pics. It is hard to tell with the face blurred but if it was not her she looked just like her. And secondly I was not upsold like Puck. So I stick to YMMV with her services but it is clear now that her pics are fake. I did not know those were pics of a porn star otherwise I would have not vouched for her."
In this case, it appears that YMMV means that he got a girl that looked like the pics in the girl's ad, but anyone else might get a girl that looks nothing like her! I don't think YMMV should mean that you can't tell which girl might show up for a date you make with a supposedly independent provider!
FrankyBoy also claims to have enjoyed Greek with both Jade, whose profile says "I don't know" for anal, and MariaXO, whose profile says "NO" to anal, all for no extra charge! As SamplinLV said, Franky must be a real charmer! Funny I don't get that from his posts!
In noticing a long string of reviews for providers, Ive also noticed that the YMMV meant that he had mediocre to bad service, but maybe the next guy might be treated a bit better. I seldom use the term either.
Unfortunately, after I posted my little rant, I had to drive about 900 miles and pick up another shipment along the way, so I haven't been on line since then until now. When I had driven about a hundred of those 900 miles, the very thing you mentioned occurred to me! If someone reviews a session that wasn't the best time he has ever had, and he can't quite account for it, but considers that maybe the girl was preoccupied with personal problems that day but she didn't want to disappoint her client by cancelling, or maybe they just didn't click well together, which I think can happen with ANY two people and doesn't necessarily reflect badly on either of them, it would be proper and even adviseable to say YMMV in that case! I wish I had thought of that while I was writing my previous post, but I didn't, probably becuase it doesn't tie in with the main point I was trying to make about FrankyBoy and his use of YMMV!
I want to personally send you a thank you. You keep it real in the hobby and I really appreciate it. Jade is a bad seed and all bad seeds should be exposed (which goes both ways by the way). As far as YMMV, I agree it should be a personal matter....
I said YMMV because I got more services than Puck did without the upsell. And I did say that I thought it was the girl in the pics because that is the truth. I thought the pics were real. It has now been proven that the pics are of a porn star and not Jade.
All I did was say the truth about my experience with Jade. If that is different than other people's experience with her there is nothing I can do about that.
I have already told you this on the last 10 posts you did about this, so I am not sure why you feel it is necessary to asking the same questions.
