I noticed that I had missed a phone call by about eight minutes. Feeling like the time had not elapsed to long to where it was still safe and discreet enough to call back I did so. I received a recording with some odd giggles and laughs and a message saying that I have been spy dialed...I hung up rather quickly as it kind of made me feel uncomfortable and didn't listen to the complete message. But as I sit here it makes me think...spy dialed!? What the heck is that? Is it something I should give a second thought too?
Just followed your link and it says that my phone is owned by Eric .. No last name just Eric. Well could the real Eric please stand up because I have a few cell bills for Ya. Lol Had it said my name I would have grudgingly signed up to see what else came up.
I was worried that I could have somehow opened my phone up to some kind of virus from calling the number back. Kind of like opening an email with a virus attached..although I don't even think that's possible. ...but Technology never ceases to amaze me.
all i can see if this can be used for scammers and spammers..
like dialing number and trying to get someones real name. then calling them back and saying, "jenny! wow.. it is you... " and acting like a long lost friend and trying to scam a person.. what is the point of this? its obviously going over my head....
