Do the clubs have consistent rules re: locals get in without a cover charge?

Is it every day, even the weekends? Or just on weekdays?
Is it if the bouncer is feeling cool?
Is it for all Vegas addresses, or only certain parts of town?

That ~$50 cover charge is pretty ridiculous, and all the "no cover charge" upsells are just that: upsells that cost you more in the long run. I don't need a limo ride.

I like to hop from club to club to club, so skipping the $50/club cover charge gets my attention.
