Looking for a nightclub on the strip for the slightly older crowd (40's) where you can show a girl off, do some dancing (fast and slow) and still be able to talk at the table without the deafening thud of a huge base speaker.  Does such a club exist or is it all loud blasting club music for the 20 somethings.

My taste has changed in the type of establishments that I prefer to frequent when I visit Vegas. I'm more interested in places that are a easier going with a more refined clientele.  Last thing I want to contend with is a bunch of guys in their 20s who cant control their drinking  Take a look at Napoleons in the Paris Hotel.  It's a fun and more sophisticated place.

It's an older crowd ,30-50 year age group with a live band that's not so loud.

Yes, I hate to reiterate but I would also love to know.  I am in my 40's and will be in vegas in a few weeks.  I need a nice place to take a cutie without a bunch of loud frat boys hanging around.

Voodoo at Rio
Tryst at Wynn
Cabaret at Paris
Mizuya at Mandalay Bay there is also a crooner at the Orchid lounge that I enjoy there.
Mix at Delano - Call ahead they close for private parties often.
Blue Martini at Town Square
Sometimes the bar at Mandarin but you need to call to make sure

The Bourbon Room and Rouge at MGM can be hit or miss depending on the timing. They can be crickettes or slammed.

 I also like the Bourbon Room at the Venetian (80s music's and videos) ;  Eye Candy(?) Lounge at Mandalay Bay, and the Gold Lounge at the Aria wasn't bad for people my age, lol.
