t's difficult.  The girls "sometimes" get defensive and the threads get hostile. Sometimes the guys patronize, and sometimes they get accusatory.  

I don't know if it would be possible to discuss pricing issues with concern and willingness to hear and understand the other person issues or position.  

There is a good search feature in the reviews.  Just the other day I typed in Las Vegas, $200 to $250, I got quite a list, one or two a day, many with decent reviews.

I have no problem with the ladies and their rates . Again I don't have to shop If it to much ! I myself really don't think about the cost . It's about the experience more for me . I have no one to answer to so I'm really into a good time and someone that I can carry on a conversation with . Sometimes that cost a little more. To each his own .

If something isn't what someone wants to pay for something, move on.

I mean.. When Madonna started her concerts were probably $15. She sold albums. Grew a huge fanbase. Now her concerts are $250. You either go or you don't.

for the reasons you note....  I stopped even commenting on pricing threads for the same reasons.

I always wonder why the rate in LV, for example, is double if not triple my home market of DC.  Both cities are Top 5 in attractiveness, for obvious different reasons, but attractive none-the-less.  

No need to have an economics discussion here but I'm positive the economics does not support that Gap between the two cities.  I've posted in the past that I've come out more  cost effective by flying a  local DC lady to LV and it was still cheaper than contracting with local LV talent.

Not to say that I dont and have not made appointments with LV ladies cause I have on many occassions, of course at the fees that meet my hobby budget.

But your point is well taken...can't have a sincere discussion.  But I guess even if we could would it matter because it will always be that the ladies can charge what they want and the gents decide if they will pay.

I just had a convo today with a lady who is visiting DC.  She contacted me to let me know she was in town (I'm out of town on business).  When we first met I payed her VIP rate (I was on her turf and I had to see her at least once.)  When she came to DC I was honest with her and told her no need for me to pay her higher rate as there was too much local talent on my home turf at twice as less as her rate.  To her credit she adjusted her pricing for me.  I would dare say most ladies would respond with...."you cheap fuck."  

Most want to get on the "hobby is a business" soap box when its convenient.  But pricing is a major business component that dictates profitability.  Yet, most resort to "you're a cheap bastard" when pricing is questioned.

my pricing depends  allot on my personal life. I go to school, also own a business. So when I do not have the time, I cost more. When I have more free time ( like the summer) I can be easier and more open.  My regs always stay the same, and have no problems with my rate change. I would say instead of complaining.. You should bite the bullet and acturally make an apt with a gal you have intrest in . BEFORE she gets popular . That way you establish your self in "HER WORLD" Sitting behind an screen name being a baby , is just sad.

Yes I know, this is probably the most difficult thing there is to talk about, it is cleary not consistent with proper hobby etiquette, and WE MUST hold ourselves to a standard, just as the girls also adhere to a professional standard.

Plan your Vegas Hobby vacation during the slow season, the summer. There are a lot summer specials, check the ads from May to August, Christmas was also a good time for specials.   (if you must play golf, the Calloway Center 9 hole par-3 is open at night)

I just returned from a week spent with the ladies of Vegas  I saw 8 ladies over 9 days, and not a single one had a 2 hr minimum. These ALL are the top ladies in Vegas. There will be reviews of each over the next few days,and you will notice that none of them "jack up" thier rates.  They have no need to do so, their reputation is good enough that they do not need too. I would do some more study before making blanket statements.  OK, sermon is finished.

The OP simply hasn't done much research....or, LOL, perhaps he's wanting "us" to do it for him!   I just happen to be back East and in the vicinity of DC.  I really don't see much difference in rates.   Not that I've got time anyway.....and I've already got plans for more Vegas debauchery in a couple weeks!    

That being said, Vegas is quite unique as a hobbyland.  It's pretty much totally based upon "tourists".  Vegas has and always will have a strong mix of "local" ladies and a constant stream of visiting ladies.  It's a tough market.....and I'm not about to venture into the deep dark abyss of rate discussion.  Deal with it!!

Then I have some more words - in many professions people start off with a certain salary or asking price.
Doesn't a model start with one fee and the more famous or in demand she becomes , the higher her fee ? Just ask Naomi Campbell or Cindy Crawford  

Doesn't a football or basketball player start off making a certain amount and as he gets more popular he gets paid more ?
Same goes for actors , lawyers , doctors ......... I mean the list can go on and on and I don't have that much time . But I am sure you get the picture .

NOW with that said there are PLENTY of ladies who do not do that . and never did that .......

Can't speak for others , but as for me , my rates have been the same for a long time .
and my 2 hour rate at that time also went very very far .  
but I also have MANY many regulars that would be grandfathered in and it would be quite a hassle to keep track of who is grandfather rate and who would be new rate.
because I really DO NOT keep a client list. it worked better for me just to keep as is .

 
Also a ladies rate is tied into being "higher on the TER list"  which I personally could care less about
and actually don't even care at all .... because "The List" is ridicules to begin with .......
but that is a whole new discussion .
I guess some people take that list too seriously .  

I wonder if this list would be taken away , some rates may drop a bit  
but many still will remain high .

Think about it - who is going to spend $1500 on an unknown . So they start at average Vegas rate
cause I guess that is a rate that people are willing to take a chance on .......and once they build credibility , they raise the rate to what they want.

What you also don't know is we in Vegas always end up paying higher rates then most other cities pay for advertising or ads on verification sites .  
So why is that ?  ........ rhetorical question , because as in any business , pricing is based on supply and demand and what the market will bare.
