there was a wonderful gent that posted on the board a while back by the name of "graveldude" he has submitted two reviews one for myself and one for miss trouble(audrey) As a provider I dont want to help him to write a review for that is not politically correct/nor acceptable as I am a provider who abides by ALL TER rules!! can any hobbyist maybe extend a helping hand? I whitelisted him .. I TOFTT..(for the ladies) he is a very sweet young newbie and under his TER handle it says 2 reviews but not showing them??? he will be back he says in mid March.. what should he do it to get his career as a hobbyist underway?? lol he definately is past newbie stage (wink): )- When a a new good man comes on the scene it nice to be able to allow the other ladies to know hey this is a safe man..enjoy!!!especially when in our industry it can be quite scarey for both hobbyists and providers..
If he dosent know why his review was not approved have him do try a couple things..
1) Send a note to The TER administrator and just ask why. Often its something very simple to correct.. maybe a link to a website for instance..for example you do not ever type www in the link you just use http:// and then the providers' site.
2) Go to his "Account Manager" tab (up on top in the middle of the screen. Click on "My Reviews"(over on the left) and see if there is a note identifying the problem in the reveiw.
There are posted reviews which seem to be in complete contrast with others on completeness and what is included. I think it depends on who is doing the approving at the moment.
As I said its one of lifes' great misteries to me but as my old boss used to say "Ours is not to question, it is to do." lol
...some good reasons and many confusing generic explanations for why it is so difficult many times for a paying subscriber to submit a review, how scores are mysterically changed, why approvals have never caught up and take so long, why reviews are denied, why a provider's profile remains as her first review establishes and on and on.........I imagine we won't see many agressive improvements in this area unless it began to effect TER's bottom line. Will that happen, I doubt it. I keep paying to get what they will allow so why would they change or strive to be better?
So, not knowing if there is an automated way to find the reason, I guess I will request an explination, see how long it takes to get a response, if ever, .....if answered, make whatever change is needed that I haven't run into in the past......blah, blah, blah.....
.....It takes more time than many realize to write a review in the first place and then more time to follow up on an unapproval and try to correct questionable and apparently changing guidelines................no wonder many give up!
I value reviews and want to do my part in contribution, but....
.........that in addition to the, natural, "chest thumbing" we can elude to in reviews, I'm confident most of us hobbiest hope that, in a small way, our reviews might help in your success and contiuned availability.
Treat the review process like your golf game..expect failure more often than you would like and be happy for your success, no matter what your percentage of success may be. This way you arnt setting yourself up for disappointment! This should work right?
I appreciate the honest reviews.. qualityseeker..next time NO morning appts!! lol and graveldude.. you are just a great dude!! happy hobbying.. you are a great addition... much love!! sincerely Lovely lorena
up to 90 days so do not give up. Providers first reviews by first time reviewers are often held up by TER because so many have proved to be false. The reason a review is not approved is listed under "account manager" in the top menu line. I'm about 50% / 50% for first time approvals but have gotten all approved by editing slightly & resubmitting. Reviews are best not too explict since the unique pairing of 2 unique individuals will also be unique. If some extra is offered or included that isn't listed on her menu, do not mention it or you'll not get it again! These are YMMV items. Always be vague about the meeting location. Telling too much may bring LE dangerously close. I generally referance a nearby community, rather than the small location where my Fav is located. Best Wishes & happy hobbying, skb
