Louisville has so much music, but I recommend the Summer for the most variety. Both the River stage on the Louisville side, and in Jeff across the bridge have events just about every weekend during the warmer months.
If you're staying in the area a while there's Berniheim Forest a little drive south. It's beautiful and the forest giants are really cool to see in person. There's also the Nature Center and even the Zoo!
I have received many requests to add Louisville to my tour schedule. I've visited friends out there a few times but didn't stay long enough to really get to know the area. I've never toured Louisville. Where is there good, clean, healthy and local food? Which areas are best to stay? Are there nature spaces and/or walking and hiking trails? I'm not into shopping, can't stand malls and crowded places. I prefer the peace of nature when I have down time or with a friend What is the music scene like? I may check out a local band if one is playing somewhere.
