You must be a sage despite your name. It looks like Serena is now off the radar. Her home page is gone.
I am a long-time pooner, but this area, K-girls, is still new to me, and I didn't realize it was now elevated to a subsection of the hobby in its own right.
I live in a mid-western Canadian city with a very poor local SP scene, it has been sustained mainly by visiting ladies from other parts of Canada on tour, otherwise we would all just be wankers.
One day, maybe a year ago, an ad appeared on some local boards from an agency with a visiting Korean girl. What caught my eye was the girl was very attractive and the rates were excellent. I had experienced the Oriental approach before in Thailand and missed it, dearly, and have a weakness for Oriental girls.
I had a fabulous time with her, the value was so much greater than with other ladies. She left in 10 days and was immediately replaced by another girl, also young and attractive and working from the same template: attended shower, sex, massage, attended shower. Every 10 days, a new girl. The agency added a second girl a few months ago, then a second agency appeared at the same time working the identical format.
The two agencies are decimating what little is left of the local industry, and are now cutting into the much more expensive visiting SP trade. The expression "K-girl" has not even reached most of Canada yet, I assume I am using the term correctly, a lot of guys are swearing off non-K-girls already. Personally they are at ~80% for me.
I can understand why the conquest of my city came so easily, and I heartily approve, but where did this K-girl phenom come from, and why haven't the Chinese, Thais or any other other Oriental culture copied it here? I would have expected cities like LA and NYC with so many hot women to have resisted K-girls, but no.
The K-girl phenom has hit like a hurricane, just trying to understand where it is going.

Is it normal for an agency to change girls every 10 days, and change their handles too? The K-girl experience is presented to us as a "brand": order up K-girl and you will have a great Asian experience with one of our very attractive young Korean girls that we have chosen this time.
It's normal for touring K-girls. Most touring girls will stay in one place for 2 to 3 weeks. LA, BA, NY, and to lesser degree Seattle are exceptions where some K-girls stay put. As far as names they use, most agencies prefer to give their own names to these girls. End result is that some well traveled girls have over dozen different names they have used in different cities. Few girls with well established history and reviews will insist on using their name, but those are in the minority.
I am not sure why you are referring to them as an invasion or conquest. I could understand if you are a provider and business has taken a turn for the worse because of them. If the locals (providers) are feeling the pinch, then they can lower their rates, tour or step up their game.
Aside from that, if you are seeing hot providers, getting a great performance for a reasonable donation you are getting what you are supposed to be getting and what you are paying for. You still do have the choice of paying more and not seeing the K-girls.
The Koreans are more organized then other Asians such as the Chinese. Their business models are similar and there is more cooperation and affiliation. There are some variances from one city to another, but as a rule it is true.
There has been some resistance to the K-girls but only in LA where the greatest numbers of K-girls are and primarily on TER. I would rather not get into it in depth, but as the Borg say "resistance is futile".
I'm being facetious when I say "invasion", but they are certainly raising their market share quickly.
I LIKE the influx, it's a godsend. This is something entirely new for my city, a radical change. I hope it endures.
Once one of these agencies sent a Chinese girl, she was a dud, the only one.
However, I am unable to review our K-girls on TER. The combination of the Korean business model with the rather rigid review rules of TER effectively bar a review. I can't apply the website with the girl's name and info to a TER review, as they are always on the move, get removed from the website upon re-location and their Backpage ad gets deleted.
That's how touring models for K-girl work everywhere. That shouldn't deter a review. Just use the BP ad address and post your review right away. Since they are around for only 2 weeks, you have to post your review quickly if you are going to be helpful to your fellow hobbyist.
I recently experienced my first K-girl experience (Serena) and all I can think about is wanting to see her again. Sadly she has left town and who knows when she'll be back, if ever.
I guess I'm hooked.
Interesting, she has her own website. I assume she's independent. All the ones I know of here are with an agency, and return to Korea before their 6-month visitor's grace period is up.
Damn, K-girls are instantly addicting! However, there seem to be some limits. I doubt any form of BDSM is available, overnights may be an issue for the mamasan, dinner dates would be deathly dull due to the language barrier, a 3some may be hard to set-up because of communication issues too.

Serena is one of them. She's worked hard at acquiring fluency in English, let her enjoy the results of her hard work. She's also intelligent, personable, and now probably at the top of her game but hasn't maxed out her earning potential, and it's no exaggeration to say she's truly stunning. Such a combination of skills in one person probably ensures she will not be with us long, I predict, so enjoy her while you can. Don't despair, there are others on the same level. Do your home work and you will find them.
You must be a sage despite your name. It looks like Serena is now off the radar. Her home page is gone.
Her TER profile and her home page are now both gone. It looks as though she found her next calling. Wherever you are, best wishes and good luck!!!
I guess I'm hooked.

You're right, she is special and highly addictive. I'm addicted to her. I truly hope you are correct about her touring and that she'll come back this way.
Otherwise I'm going to have to go on tour myself and follow her. (just kidding
I am truly happy for all the success she's having as an independent. But at the same time saddened as she will likely no longer tour through her old agency stops. I agree with TC in that if you've seen her recently as an Indy, chances are good that you'll get to see her again.
I guess I'm hooked.
Serena is a special lady and highly addictive. Depending on where you met her, there's a good chance you will have the opportunity to see her again as she's establishing a tour schedule in places that don't necessarily have an H Mart, which makes her exceptional and courageous besides.

I'd bet Serena will be come back in her old haunts from time to time, albeit as a total independent and at higher rates. She's done well in every place she's visited and now she's apreading her wings. I'm speculating -- I don't know her well and I'm not in touch with her at all or with anyone who knows her -- but I'm guessing that she dipped her toes in the water at first, found it wasn't too bad, discovered she was a HUGE success, with good looks, smarts, and ability to enjoy her work as well as prosper, and is now covering a much wider area and calling her own tune. My impression is that she knows her own mind but is still young, but has a business plan and will stick to it. Well, we'll see -- or maybe we won't!!! She's not likely to let us know when she moves on, except to say, "bye bye boys!"
I suspect more kgirls would be interested in Canada because your LE arent as hardcore about busting working ladies.
Thai are also good at capitalizing some towns as well.
Dont know much about the chinese, seems like there should be a good group, but only ones ive seen have been in AMPs.
A few years ago Asians were unheard of where I am. Then the Chinese came. The pictures in their ads were all ripped-off from the Internet. Poor service, unattractive women, slightly more expensive than current K-girl rates. Then the K-girls came, drove most of the Chinese out.
because one thing is certain you get a koreatown then prostitution will follow. you have to understand...almost like thailand prostitution is a accepted part of korean culture. anytime korean immigrants get together then bars pop up and then girls are wanted and things start getting organized etc and girls are imported.
even areas where you might not see kgirl escorts advertised they exist for sure in the beginning servicing koreans only. then business get good and learn some english then the owners or the girls themselves go after nonkoreans. everycity i know has a secondary market for koreans only. even LA you would not believe whats available for koreans only. theres outcalls, even incalls at the girls home at 3am etc.
No Koreatown, however there are scattered Korean restaurants.
Very large Filipino community, allegedly the largest Filipino city outside the Phillipines, but no Filipino SPs that I know of.
that means theres a group....and some enterprising guy or woman decided to provide some companionship service...
like i said enjoy and have fun...
In every big city of the world not under a police state prostitution is available big time. Including the US. I don't know what Scranton Pa is like today but in the 50s it had 50 or 60 licensed bars and just as many illegal speakeasies, and prostitution was a big adjunct of all of that. And i doubt if there was a single Korean, man or woman within 50 miles of the city. And the big cities, like NY, Chicago, SF, LA, "easy women" were always available. Prostitution is indigenous and doesn't depend on immigrants, although in my view they make things a lot more interesting.
