Don't know if this is kosher on a Kgirl Bd, but I'll try to justify this way. All Chinese can tell you the fame Confucius adage that food & sex are the basic human needs. I have older relatives who resist diet and said that they lost 50% already, and refuse to give up the other 50%.

So help me with some of these relatives visiting LA. Any good K restaurants, especially for noodles, in KTown? I looked up Yelps and the ones with 4 stars are all with one $ sign implying cheap ambiance. Good topic for pillow talks in K sessions.

This restaurant is also in Myeong Dong area of Seoul.  They also have a restaurant in Tokyo.

You must try their kalgooksoo noodle soup and mandoo dumplings. They also have delicious bibiguksu and konggunksoo.

Enjoy

...of "Parts Unknown."  He's guided by chef Roy Choi (creator of the Kogi BBQ taco truck) and artist David Choe who painted a mural for Facebook in exchange for shares of stock which became worth $200 million when Facebook went public.  Choe has some sexy women hanging around him - who knows, you may recognize them as K-girls.  Choe is also a little eccentric ($200 million will do that to you) and takes Bourdain to K-town's Sizzler.

There are a bunch of good Bbq joints on 6th street. I'd suggest yelp. Anything over 4 1/2 stars is worth checking out in Ktown. Warning though, lines will be long at the popular places for dinner.

Thanx to all for various good suggestions. My seniors tried one already, that's highly regarded and very crowded. They were less impressed than Japanese & Chinese, but considered it above Vietnamese & Thai. They may try another one to compare.
On Rua's question, soup noodles & dumplings were sought.
But this board is for Kgirls, so I won't hijack the discussions any more. Any day, I'll choose Kgirl over K food.
