Anyone ever use Urcleared.com to verify with an org? I can only imagine what kind of PII they might require which to a point negates the desire to get poon from that org. First time I’ve run across this.

So far I've only heard of bgc in the bay using it.  

Personally I think urcleared footprint is very small and they do ask privacy exposing questions, if I'm to trust fellow mongers reports. This makes me uncomfortable, personally.  

 
The funny thing about BGC is that historically they are not a hard org to get in with just refs.  

 
In other words, if you care about your privacy, should be easier way to get in. If they are adamant about urcleared, imo (and it's my speculation) something is weird with your phone/name. Maybe you're a newbie or they are not trusting your references.

Personally I would never give LSC my work/DL info and I certainly would never go through with a third party tool of shady origin like urcleared as long as it requires any pii info. Tbh in this situation Id trust the org over such third party service. If they sell your info it will be to only other orgs as part of client list deals. Who knows whom a third party site like that can sell it to.  

 
But that's just me. My safety and my anonymity mean too much. Sorry I went through a long-winded post again. In short, I haven't seen anything about urcleared to suggest it's a reputable site, but I also haven't heard anything to suggest otherwise. Still, it's a questionable small site and you don't want to give those your pii imo.

I applied with them once before biut I got crickets so I waited a bit (months later) to try again. I use a burner app so my number shouldn’t be any wierder than any other. Oh well, loveKSweetie loves me.

That's even weirder as loveksweetie branched off from bgc and their bo$$ used to work at bgc. Lks actually accepted many folks who were already verified with bgc.

I think LoveKSweetie is meant to be a lower tier offshoot as Mercury was to Ford. Top tier girls at BGC and the not quite prime time line up at LKS. Still you have Jennie who used to be one of LSC’s top girls there so I’m at a loss. LKS didn’t bat an eyelash at my info or references. Hell, I don’t think they even bothered to check them given the speed of their approval.

Based on my experience, it is highly unlikely that there is any conspiracy or anything personal behind the vast majority of approval issues. The orgs tend to not have many employees. And the ones they have tend to be rather capricious and unreliable at times. It is the nature of this kind of business.

 
I had an IT customer once upon a time that had a very generic name. I had no clue as to what their actual business was. And they were very private about it. In IT this is not uncommon. It happens with certain government agencies and companies that do business with them. It also happens with small businesses that support someone famous who is protecting their identity.

 
In this case I was asked to show up at their data center to identify and hopefully resolve some particularly complex technical issues. During the course of this visit it became impossible for me to not find out the nature of their business. They were a hosting company for porn sites. One of the biggest in the world. I’ll forego the details. But some of them were truly repulsive to me. I draw the line at including people in porn without their consent.

 
The net is that I also found out some of the things they had to do to attract and keep employees. Sure, they paid very well (the easiest way I know of to double your IT salary is to work in porn - the money I was offered to come work for them was mind boggling). But not that many people were willing to work on publishing porn to the world. Everyone had to do their part to increase the value of their business in rather personal ways. That meant the business had to put up with things from employees that other companies would never tolerate.  

 
Our k-orgs actually have it even worse.

 
Just something to keep in mind when dealing with the k-girl business infrastructure.

Did quick digging and I will say this does seem like an org front as if it's a third party tool. But it seems like a site someone built to make sure info goes to the org.  

 
1. Domain was registered in Dec 2020.
2. First reports of bgc asking for urcleared surfaced around Feb 2021
3. The site has no functionality besides submitting info. No faqs, no information of priv@cy, etc. There are no pages besides the main one.
4. Site is built using a basic wordPress template.
5. The author is listed as urclearedxoxo at gmail. You'd think a legit third party verification service sould at lest have own mail server.

 
All this points to very sh@dy stuff. At best its the org trying to lull you into thinking you're entrusting info to third party and not then. At worst, your info can be s0ld. Use at your own discretion.
