highjacking of "legend" names by new girls?  We recently had "Suri" in LA, now there's "Queen", and "Lohan" is in Orange County.  Do the bookers really think they are going to fool any of us into thinking a legend has returned?  Personally, I think it probably hurts a new girl more than helping her.

How about the rest of you?   Would you be more inclined to see a new girl named after a legend?

... I try to be discerning and diligent but I was rushing one time and booked the wrong girl with the same name as my intended.  I guess if that happens enough, for whatever reason, using a legend's name is worthwhile.

looking at it only from the standpoint that once a guy gets there and finds she is something far short of a legend, he would not repeat, but as you say, if she's getting enough guys by mistake, she may not care that they're not repeating.

when I have a perfectly adequate session, I'll be disappointed because it was less than I expected.

If she's going to 'talk the talk', she better be able to 'walk the walk.'

On the other hand, if she blows me away in Performance, she becomes an Instant Legend!!!

Most are probably better off with a non-Legendary moniker.

I have some faves (not sure I'd call them legends) in NYC. But there are at least 12 Cherry-s, 13 Coco-s, 11 Amy-s, and 11 Yoyo-s with reviews within the past 12 months.  I haven't seen them all and some of them are one-hit wonders. Maybe the one-hit wonders are the "wrong" Cherry, Coco, Amy and Yoyo that nobody goes back to see. When I look for a familiar NAME I also check the ads for a familiar FACE (or blurred face) to make sure it's the one I want to see.

Who think if they check again in the morning when they're sober the photos won't be blurred.

A certain long-gone online resource dealt with the issue of multiple providers using the same name by (a) coming up with a shorthand designation for certain establishments and (a) identifying them by said establishments. The method in use for the establishments was to use the city and last 4 digits of the phone number for example, an establishment in San Jose with a phone number of (408) 555-1234 would be referred to as "SJ 1234" while one in Mountain View with a phone number of (650) 555-5678 would be referred to as "MV 5678", one in San Francisco with a number of (415) 555-9999 would be "SF 9999", and so on. If there were, say a Coco working at all 3 locations, then they would be differentiated as "Coco @ SJ 1234", "Coco @ MV 4578", "Coco @ SF 9999". If Coco in SJ moved to Santa Clara and changed her working name to Pepsi, it was simple enough to identify in reviews "Pepsi @ SC 4321, formerly Coco @ SJ 1234". It was a reasonable enough method that cleared up a lot of confusion...

Girl's names are occasionally regurgutated and I don't think its a big deal since the ads are always different andI normally can verify from the booker whether or not it's that person . What irks me more is when I'm pm'd that a certain legend is back by a fellow monger, assures me it's her and that the girl changed bookers so I can't verify if its true or not so I have to TOFTT only to find out it isn't her.

I have been burned many times, especially in Las Vegas, when  bookers refuse to tell me where a girl has worked before or under what name, and then I end up seeing a girl for $300 that I already saw in LA for $250 under another name.  It really pisses me off when they know but won't tell you.

Conversely, I had a booker recommend a new girl one time and I said I would wait for her to get some reviews, so he told me her former name in another city and she already had over one hundred TER reviews.  I booked immediately.
