If you are talking about the lack of touring from California to DMV, or probably any USA city via air, I don't think that is an issue from any change in policy -- it's just that some (many) are on expired visas that will now be looked at whereas before few if any ID checks were occurring for domestic travel.
If you're talking about the 90 day wonders or general inflow of K-girls to the USA from ROK then the visa is still not a problem but the impact to travel, particularly any return, I think is a bigger issue. Moreover, while it seems that many of the younger in Seoul are perhaps less concerned in general Koreans are very health conscious and I suspect traveling between there and the USA (or other "hot spots") probably creates a stigma for the person to deal with at home (both family and community). So the incentives have changed a bit as well as the ability to skirt the requirements on the stay.
I think Korean health and safety consciousness is very underrated as an influence on their willingness, or lack thereof, to travel to the U.S.

They hear it in the news, in kdramas, even from popular Korean YouTubers. It doesn’t help that there is some significant truth to this narrative. Just not to the extent that it is popular to believe. Especially in countries like Korea where guns are so effectively banned.
On top of that, they also commonly believe, with some justification, that Asians are generally discriminated against here.
And the recent coverage of Covid has added to that sense of risk to U.S. travel. Don’t forget that they are much more exposed to the Chinese narrative in Korea than we are. And the Chinese are determinedly blaming the U.S. for issues with Covid.
Given all of that, I think it becomes much easier to understand the reluctance of younger Korean girls to come here to work in the sex industry.

South Korea is in the USA visa waiver program. South Koreans are pretty much free to visit the USA whenever they like ... except now there are the Covid issues. So would have to check with each country on daily changing quarantine restrictions etc.

Them being in the DMV ins't a recent thing, as it's more like one or two young providers per month since April. Their presence is well-known if you follow the local forums (Usasexguide) as hereissome and likely JamesK and Jensen know who they are. I wouldn't categorize K-girls in their 30s as being swine-ish and think that Panther's sentiment may not be a commonly held one lol. on F-1 student visa's, many of the ex-salon girls enter the US this way and they get two years instead of the 90 days the tourist visa's allow. Most enroll in English Language School because they can go to the class on their day off and then submit the homework online from their incall in between customers on days they work. Consequently, many of the salon girls who are furloughed at 29-30 will try for the student visa first, and if they don't get approved, then they will go the 90-day wonder route on a tourist visa. My point is, just because they are here on a student visa doesn't mean they are anywhere near 21-25.
