VPN is ubiquitous nowadays and that's how people in other countries get around bans. Obviously some countries ban vpns too, but that's like China level.

Its 2021. Not 1997 when you had to hustle for a unsafe public proxy on questionable sites (been there done that)  and actually set up to route your http or tcp traffic through it.  

 
VPN as a commercial out of the box product is available for all kinds of smartphones and devices. Plung and play as long as you pay.

in your statement, but I will agree that VPN use is more common nowadays, and you can connect to TER with a VPN.

Though I'm not sure how common it is for a k girl to check her reviews once she's returned to Korea, but I'm sure they become curious sometimes.

I would go so far as argue that downloading, installing and using a VPN on your smartphone is easier, faster and more streamlined than making an account on TER and writing a review.  

 
Download, make account+pay run, click big button, select country and server press big button. Boom. You're now showing as a visitor from New Guinea.

BTW India is #2 country after us in ter traffic according to Alexa. It's pretty obvious why,but still.

See below -- oh the irony....

Did you really think I was making a comment, leading off with "Boring fact of the day", about how those poor South Korean mongers are screwed out of accessing TER? First, not one person there that might know about TER gives a flying fuck as they have much better options for themselves I'm sure.  And, clearly they are just as "savvy" as you about using a VPN (as are just about everyone that was here during the dark age).

 
How you could take my post as something serious about access to TER rather than the mild irony about being on a K-Girl board talking about all the great K-Girls (perhaps these day about wishes they will come back) while their country of origin is banned from access to the site is beyond me. Sorry rocket, you seem to have been asking to be mocked.

I'll add more irony for you. I never connect to the internet outside a VPN. I don't just just it to go to TER or get around geolocational controls (nor does that always seem to work put suspect that has more to do with the local process running than any network related aspects).

 
If you cannot laugh at yourself for being "stupid" and not picking up on the lame joke in the post all I can say is you really should get out and have some sex (even if you then need to self quarantine to protect those at risk in your life)  because you are WAY too serious.

 
But on a more serious note, I actually do care if others are enjoying things or if they are not getting what they want. The difference between you and me is that you have this idealistic approach and want to change things that are not under your control. I prefer to suggest others learn the realities of the game and how to deal with the situation as best they can -- which will never be your fantasy always comes true and no one ever lies (either providers or other mongers). I think my way leads to much better success both in terms of personal experience and ultimately better market outcomes.

It's Ironic

Only if you expect K-girls to be accessing this website in Korea. If they hardly do it here (I know the consensus disagrees with this view, but those claims seem overblown to me), why would they do it there, especially when there's an increased barrier to access?

Second, seems like you assumed that I thought you don't know how to use a VPN or something. Otherwise there is no irony in that you don't go connect to internet without using a VPN. But it's good that you use it all the time. Would recommend to do so for others.

 
But yes, I will admit I reacted probably a bit stuck up. Even tho I think it want just me who decided to address the vpn thing, fair enough. But I also know that that I would not question intelligence of anyone if someone didn't get my little jokes.

 
About the other thing, you know I have a lot of to say there. So I'll keep it short. The game is rigged, and you always play on the side that benefits from the game being rigged. You always blame the side that the game is rigged against whenever there is conflict,at least publicly. You also tend to call the side that got the game rigged against them, idiots and other names, and yet I haven't seen you call the other side that, EVER. Whether it's because you are monitored on this forum by people who vouch for you, or if it's your belief that if someone has bobs and vagene they can't be idiots, or something else.... this is a fact.  

 

I know you wouldn't dare say what you said about my intelligence to a provider on this forum, no matter how she'd misread your joke. And that brings me to what I really dislike - double standards.

More Like Porn in General

Actually, porn in general is banned in the ROK... which is really ironic when you consider how prolific the sex industry is in S. Korea. One of the Korean sites that I use to find full salons, AAMP girls, and spas changes it's URL every month so they don't get shut down.  

 
That site alone is a fucking goldmine... and soooo much cheaper than the US. For like $200 at a luxury 안마, you get like 70 minutes with a hot korean girl and another 40 minutes to use the 안마 facilities. For an AAMP type girl, it's like $150/hr, but with one shot. Sucked not going to Korea last year (it's a yearly trip)... DAMN YOU COVID!!!!

Singapore is the same way...

Sex for pay is totally legal there, but if you're caught with porn, you're tossed in the slammer.

 
Even textbooks with pictures can be banned.   I had to send some of these to a gal in Singapore once hidden in a box of other stuff so it could get by customs.   She needed the books for college courses she was taking.

Agree that most of the laws and social rules in ROK related to sex (and somewhat to sexuality) are rather Victorian and highly ironic given social behavior. But it still is a very conservative society over all.

but I have more than a few times make similar comments to the girls when they did something as foolishly off the mark as your VPN response. I will agree that in person they will see that I am teasing them about making a stupid mistake while you could not. I find their response is always to laugh and then get even when I do/say something deserving of some mocking.  

 
If you cannot laugh at the silly things you do and having sex doesn't even help out on that...well, I guess I don't have anything to say.

 
BTW, rather than making up a mental story about my supposed hypocrisy you could have just made fun of my thread title. "'Boaring', really? Are we wild animals here?" I would have laughed at something like that.

I really don't see how porn is "competition" to the brothels, I know on the rare occasions I watch porn it makes me want to go have the "real thing" and with a brothel open right up the street, I know where I would be headed. Now cracking down on street hookers I agree with, THAT does tend to give the brothels a competitive advantage if they are the only game in town where it comes to prostitution. (I don't agree with the practice, only the rationale for it)

Are you kidding me? Even on these forums you have people talking about liking to watch porn and masterbate as an alternative to fucking -- be it due to fears of COVID, lack of cash to pay for level of hornyness or whatever. On the margin I would think blocking porn is going to move some people to the brothels if only to watch the girl (who will happily take the money just to be looked at rather than having to fuck I suspect).

I was hardly going for more than a slight grin at the observation. Just pointing out a mildly ironic situation related to this particular board and TER. I didn't call anyone stupid for not laughing -- I didn't actually call anyone stupid. I pointed out someone completely missing the point.
