I've been reading TER reviews for a while. The short one's, long one's, good, bad, semi unintelligible and more types then I'll mention. So my question is what is in the reviews, what are you looking for to give it a like? I'm asking, and I know everyone has their own ideas of what's good, because I see multiple likes on downright unlikeable reviews! imo!  And, 1's & 2's on good reviews. Just what makes a good review?

you might take a quick look there. TER was doing a "Best Review of [a time frame]" for a while. In some of the discussion the criteria of what makes a good or bad review was covered.

I suspect part of the likes come from people having wanted to win one of the awards or having a group of friends now on TER that like to reinforce it other -- I've been noticing that you see more likes on posts and comments these days as well.

The response and participation to those contests was underwhelming to say the least. Just check out the number of reads, replies and entries if you doubt me.

The first point was that criteria was one of the things people discussed there and some of those comments were pretty good -- though some clearly mention entertainment value which is a bit more questionable.

The next point was that "part" of the likes may have come from that source but I noted that it seems the new influx of TER users seem to be of the let's us the like button crowd where as before I hardly noticed people using the option much at all.

geographic location.  California Kgirls seem to get a lot, but if you go to the East Coast or places like Asia or Europe, reviews rarely get more than one or two.  Most of the time, a review with one "like" is from the guy who wrote it, the same as on the discussion boards.  LOL    I don't put much stock in whether someone else likes a review that I'm reading.  The only thing that matters is if I liked it, and whether it gave me all of the info I was looking for.

Don't be a moron, hardly anyone paid even the least bit of attention to the "Let's Play" board and you know it.

I can read just fine, and unfortunately for you I read EXACTLY what you wrote and what you wrote was bullshit. Reread your own dumb post and I'll be here to accept your apology when you realize just how wrong you were. Not all of your post was dumb, just the part that attributed the so called spike in "likes" if there really was a spike, which by no means am I conceding, but even if I stipulated that there was a spike, there is ZERO evidence that it was even in part driven by the poorly received and mainly ignored contest on the Lets Play board.

Nothing like an e-ticket ride in Wonderland...

The magic door opened, I stepped inside and the sexiest kgirl EVER closed the door behind me...

I enjoy writing and reading Penthouse forum type reviews.  The nastier the BETTER...me and many Nor Cal monger brothers now call TER home.  And we are about Intel and positive reinforcement.

I'm a smooth criminal and an MSOG monger.  Not a hobbyist.  No sir!  I also prefer the Pepsi Palace style of kgirl.  I actually had a session with Ms Pepsi back in the early days of the Gulf War; yeah, that kgirl been working a LONG A$$ Time.

My LaLa review got me my first 10 likes.  Followed closely behind with my Jesi review #2 at 7 likes.

Thank you Two on, for answering the question!  Good answer too...
Why must every fucking thread around here turn into week-long debate by the same four members?

For the record, I like a review that has me thinking I was a voyeur in the closet. A good review paints a picture in your brain as if you were there. Do I want to experience what I just read?  Hell yes, I do!-    or Hail no! I don't.

For ME to give a review a like it hits one or more of the below:

1. It's funny

2. It gives an honest, detailed description of the woman's appearance

3. It gives a detailed description of the woman's level of engagement, or on the flipside, mechanical-ness

4. Tells what they did NOT like about the woman

5. Tells WHY they liked or did not like, would repeat or wouldn't repeat

I especially pay attention to number 4.  If a guy is grading her down because he didn't have any chemistry with her, it often turns out to be a girl I will still want to see if the service is good and she's not butt-ugly.  Chemistry is unique to any two individuals and there have been a lot of girls that are passive by nature and you have to prod them a little to get them to open up and engage. I have said before that you often get out of a session what you bring to it.  So a girl that would be an 8 for service, but received a 7 that was clearly given because of a lack of connection, then she might still be an 8 or 9 for me, and worth seeing.

I completely agree with you on that. I read the review and others on the girl to get a picture of personality and determine if it's a go. Service is the big factor, but if she's a whirlwind you probably won't be talking too much anyway! But, I do like a connection, to me it enhances the session.

That is a good format.

Totally need to remind myself to do that.

Thanks for all the input! I was curious and you guys helped me out! Twoon, hope got the handle right, your LaLa review was funny & colorful, put together quite well! Penthouse was always a favorite! Sunnyday, great points, I look for the same things in the reviews.

Maybe I get to wrapped up in spelling & grammar!
But, I do get into and decipher the story.

Thanks, again!

Take a look at an absolutely worthless review.  If the guy didn't insert a hard return on the third line, it would only  be three lines long.  Now in all fairness, its his first review on TER, but even on a first review, he should have read some others to see what kind of information should be included.  These reviews are a total waste of time.  I think TER should have some minimum requirements for content.  Just my opinion.

With at said, get a load of his username.  LOL

Wow. Almost makes me want to defy the order to not travel further than 150 miles from home just to see her.
