a dozen funny things to be said in response (unfortunately, Sloc couldn't think of even one), this is a legitimate question so I will give you a straight answer.
When having a relaxed dinner with a Kgirl when they are not working, I often ask, "What does your family think you are doing to make money while you're here.? Usually, the response is some type of sales work, and most often, vitamin/supplement and clothing sales (both of which are high markup and would account for the extraordinary earnings, or at least, make it plausible). As sales reps, they, of course must go to different cities thoughout the US. A few also claim to be lingerie models and actually send family some of their photos they use in their ads; but not the ones showing boobs, etc.
A few girls that I went on day-long dates with would take 20 or 30 photos each time of various sights we visited and send a few at a time home to enhance the illusion that they were living a normal life and had a normal job, with weekends off to go places with friends. Keeping of the fiction back home that they have "normal" jobs is a source of stress for many of these girls.

Most lived in seoul alone anyway and rarely met their family just sent money. So when they came to US family didnt know any better. Many reviewers think that if they paid $4-500 an hour, they should give a girl 10's so they don't look like chumps to fellow hobbyists.
