It might if you then tried to set things up directly with the girl later.

Since you are a newbie (looks like from posts) I would suggest treading carefully.  That said, they can and will provide their number is they trust you to be responsible and have some reason to want you to have it -- you might travel to locations they tour or their home base; see you as a potential "benefactor" (which could be high income and generous to a financially stupid sucker).

And yes, the indie and agency divide here is pretty sharp but the agencies will take references from true independents or from touring girls that work with other agencies  and understand that clients all want to keep their options open.

Question: California (LA area).

I'm visiting in a few weeks and was wondering if I need to get pre-screened versus just calling up an agency?

When I was on the Left Coast last, it was super easy to book a K-Girl. This was a while ago, almost two years ago.  I'd find an agency on BP and just called. East Coast, and in particular the DMV (DC Area), it is super hard to get-in. Once approved easy to get to some of the other agencies (I think they are firewalled because just belonging to one doesn't guarantee you'll belong to all,

Anyway, why is it so easy on the West Coast, and is it still this way today? Basically, do I need to get pre-screened in Los Angeles area?

It is more difficult on the West Coast as well.  Even years ago, it seemed to me that it was harder to get in on the East Coast, but that could be because I was an out-of-towner, and just like on the West Coast,  bookers don't see an ongoing financial return on the horizon by taking the time to vet a visiting customer that may be one and done.

What I have done to get into most of the East Coast agencies is to get a vouch from a touring Kgirl that knows me.  When I see touring girls in SoCal, it has always been my practice to exchange phone numbers with them (unless I think they are BSC)  for the reason that I, too, travel a lot, and if I'm in another city they happen to be working in at the same time, I could see them at the other places where they tour.  So when I'm on the road, and see a girl that I know is also in town, and who I have phone number for, but she is at an agency where I was not yet approved, I would text HER first, and tell her that I'm in town and wanted to see her, but that I'm not approved with her booker, so could she give the booker my phone number and tell him/her that she knows me from SoCal and its alright to give me the appointment.  Then when I text, I'm already approved the same as if I was an existing customer.  Once I see the girl I know, I am in that bookers phonebook, and can see any other girl I want who's working there going forward.

I have used this method to get approved at over 15 agencies outside of SoCal, and it ALWAYS works.  Having a girl that is working there vouch for you is the best and fastest way to get in.  The booker doesn't have to check other refs or do any vetting at all.  After I got several of these, then I could also use these bookers on the East Coast as additional refs at other agencies, just like I had always done in SoCal.

Doesn't taking a phone number get you banned via agency?  Here in DC, independents and agencies tend not to mix.

Agreed and thanks.  No one egg is worth losing the chicken.

at agencies in DC ARE independents.  They are touring girls, many of whom also visit SoCal.  The agency represents them temporarily while they are there, but giving them booking/screening services and incall facilities for a set fee, which the girl pays out of the donation.  You give he money to the girl, not the agency, right?  If they were employees of the agency you would be paying the agency, not the girl.  They are classic independent contractors.  They just happen to be renting out pussy instead of fixing you plumbing.  (Its just another way to clear your pipes.  LOL)

was alot easier to see girls. Since the new laws hit all orgs have gotten tighter on security or allowing new clients in.
Or, even old clients have to be re-screened again.
Just send over refs to get pre-screened now.

Eastcoast is pretty strict. I got into several of the eastcoast orgs from seeing girls who I have traded #'s with when they we're here in LA or travelling. Aksed several of the girls at particular houses they're at in eastcoast to tell booker I a client on westcoast. Worked for me.

Alos, the Boston org used to be the strictest org to get in! But, le took them out even with the strict screening.

Well, the problem generally is that screening does nothing to stop neighbors from seeing things or stupid clients that attract attention while arriving (what's the poster child case? The guy that shows up like they are starting their Valentines Day date with a bunch of flowers and chocolates only to leave an hour later followed the next idiot doing the same thing).

on this topic two years ago, but the entire thread is worth reading for tips on how to behave at AAMP locations.  A lot of  Kgirl vets, present and past contributed, so good info to this topic.
