Many have more experience than I, but I have spoken to many of the girls about their business. Without giving away details on a public board, I can assure you that every one that has spoken about it have come here to make some good money and are free to quit, move, switch companies, go independent, take time off, travel, etc... at any time they choose.  
Detractors, competitors and the occasional politician or LE agent will allude to the alternative idea for personal gain or cause advancement, but it's a pile of self serving BS based on my experience and conversations.

If I believed for a second that a girl of any age, race or nationality was not participating of her own free will, I'd call LE myself.

I wondered that myself when i started hobbying.  you see news reports about kgirl immigrants being used by sickos who hold their passport hostage you get concerned about the girl.  But after dating few of them you learn about the indutstry and its pretty amazing how its run and whos involved etc.  apparently all the gangs got pushed out by LE and that void was taken over by the girls themselves as they became owner.    These days its run like a normal business...kgirls who come come willingly by word of mouth from girls who go back to korea or ads placed in korea and us.

Now although its a free system there are asshole owners and bookers.  Some owners will threaten the  girl to leave .  So while it isnt forcing the girl to work...its alot of pressure on the girl if shes in LA alone with no one to turn to and doesnt have a place to stay.   And the girl pays herself to LA so need to pay for that.

this is actually much less likely among k-girls than other agencies.....

because of the way Korean society, financing, business and culture work.  it's complicated and I don't want to give away any details but there is a huge amount going on behind the scenes to make this business work.  And the girls for the most part are more like independents than typical agency girls -  at least in the markets I know well,  the 'agencies' function more as providers of location and booking services and sometimes have to compete to get the talent.....

on the other hand some well known agencies in my market area have eventually been busted and been found to have been operated by African men who were exerting quite a bit of intimidation on the girls.....

According to speaking with several K-girls, these girls are quite free and independent. Some of them owns a house/condo and obviously a permanent resident/citizen of US, while some are from Korea.  Many of them seem to be a free agent where they pick their own agencies.  They do work hard in the fact that most of them are on a tight schedule without break once they are committed to a tour, but they have freedom in their schedule during their vacation and inbetween tours.

I had a chance to drink alcohol with one of K-girls.

her complain was agencies taking too much money.  

Also she spends so much money in Las vegas that she owed money to other girls....  

one of them was paying her grad school tuition, but most of them were only for money

some old providers absolutely have mental problems but it is not becuase of slavery. Their lives are mess.

Actually it became south korea's problem. about about 10%~20% of girls in 20's are working as prostitutes or something similar. It is easy money, isn't it?

They travel all the world to sell their body. So don't feel sorry for them  
Also their plastic surgeries made them better looking than any other girls from East Asian countries.  
and as cheap as girls from super poor countries
