I do expect the provider to RESEMBLE the photographs and the description. Who wouldn't? Otherwise why do they show pictures and have a description.  If I'm disappointed more than once, I move onto a different Booker.  Some people like tall slim girls, some like shorter heavier girls. If I'm going to see a spinner, I'm not expecting a 5'5" 145# woman.  Are you?

the discrepancy between ad pictures and the physical description in the ad copy? I ask because there is an ad for a new lady in PV (with the same phone number as a recently departed and highly acclaimed star). The ad copy says 5'-3" and 110 pounds; the pictures show a slender to average build. In my experience that weight at that height equals some pretty good curves, like Alexa, Megan, Cona, etc.,  which I actually prefer to the broom handle with implants and a wig look.

I've read more than one recent review where the reviewer expresses disappointment  that a lady was bigger than the pics indicated. My question is, how much weight (pun intended) do you give to pictures versus the physical description? The pictures draw me in, but then I read the description because for all of the photoshopping that goes on they don't think to alter the weight to be more in sync with the pictures.

Thoughts?

Cheers,
BD

I add 10 years to the age, and 10-15 pounds to the weight, and that usually makes it about right, so I am seldom disappointed when I get there.  If an ad says 5-7 or higher for her height, you may also expect another 3-4 inches.

As far as the photos go, they are ALL photoshpped.  The faces are completely made up to protect her identity for both security and privacy reasons, and usually she is shown with boobs at least one cup size larger and with a rounder behind than what you usually find when you get there.

FYI, Billy, if you don't like the "wig" look, see girls that shave their pussy.  OTOH, if you WANT the "wig" look, then bring your own Merkin.

wigs or fake hair in any form, of which I think extensions are the most common. I was speaking more metaphorically with regard to the super skinny body type. Think Victoria Beckham for the Caucasian equivalent...

but I took the opportunity to be obtuse about whether you were talking about head hair or pussy hair.  There really is such a thing as a Merkin.  Look it up.  Lol

I intended to ask, but forgot...

I will Google now...

Where and why did you come to know that term?

GD board here on TER in 2012, complements of MrFisher.  It shows up there a couple times year when the topic of "shaved" versus "natural" comes up.

... if I ask when we're setting up the appointment, "I have a special request. Will you wear a merkin?"

Baseline response: "What the hell is a merkin?" No big deal, most people outside of a few freaks at TER don't know what a merkin is.  :-D

Better response: "Yes!" Knows obscure words. Accommodates harmless but odd requests. Promising!

Best response: "I don't need a merkin!" Has arcane vocabulary *and* a bush! Could be a keeper!

I make a few mental adjustments, too.

But my biggest complaint is the shaving of the waistline (I've posted this many times).
The pics show )( or ) ( but she is either | | or even ( ). Sometimes (   ).
I can be very happy with | | or ( ) but I am disappointed when the pics lead me to expect )(.

Most of the K-girls I've met are very pretty to me. I am rarely disappointed. The biggest disappointments are when blurred face pics don't provide enough info, but that's only once in a while. (Unblurred is much more common these days.) But the most common disappointment is the barrel-waist that becomes a wasp-waist due to P-shopping.

I would prefer no P-shopping, except for privacy protection 'cause they are so pretty.

Like I mentioned previously, These ads/pictures are for references, not meant to be accurate. best bet is to wait for review.

Thanks for pointing that out. And here I've been for the past fifteen years taking the pics and descriptions as gospel. I should have a much better time now...

...simply copies the physical description from the ad.  As a result, most K-girls are described as 5'3"-5'5", 100 pounds with enhanced C cups.  Either the reviewer is too lazy to substitute his own judgment for the description in the ad, or he's scared of being banned by the booker for describing what she really looks like.

I must say that it has gotten a little better in the last couple of years; some guys aren't afraid to add five or ten years to the age listed in the ads.  That's what they should be doing to help their fellow K-bros out.  That's where there loyalties are supposed to lie.

... I am amazed at the discrepancies in the gal's TER profile with regard to her ad. It seems that just about every gal is listed as "thin" regardless of what her measurements are. And of course, the first reviewer sets the call for that. In the past I tried a few times to correct profiles, but TER's response was that people see things differently. The real reason no doubt is that it would time consuming and a pain in the ass to make corrections. I agree with CDL. Don't set your expectations sky high - you'll have more fun that way. Ciao!

the younger guys (under 30) that seem obsessed with looks.  For most of us older guys, they all look great when comparing them to most civvie women we could date for free.  That's why we pay.  Lol

I have only met a couple out of 400+ that I didn't think had at least SOME attractive physical features, but for me, service is king, and if she's got great skills, and a good personality and attitude to go with it, it makes her that much more attractive in my book.

Getting older makes me appreciate the experience more and I am less concerned about her looks being perfect.

I do notice that the ads are usually a close representation and have never been catfished.

I was not describing a personal experience. I cannot remember a single appointment in which the lady wasn't (at least) a reasonable facsimile of the person in the ad pictures.

The whole point was that one should be able to tell if a physical description is in keeping with the pictures attached to an ad. If the description says 5'-2" tall and 105 pounds, one should expect a lady with some curves to open the door, not a waif.

Cheers,
BD

...rarher a good post. But I do have to say that there have been a couple of times in my hobbying career that there was little or no resemblance whatsoever between the gal's pictures and the gal who answered the door. Most of the times I just sucked it up and told myself that I was still going to get a blow job and get laid, and that in itself would count as a "good" day. Ciao!

Another suggestion I've posted many times on S&P. Instead of "thin, skinny, athletic, baby fat ..." and other subjective terms, I have suggested the review form have standard silhouettes (as used in clothing design, modeling or psychology studies). The reviewer picks the one closest to the girl he met.

When posted to the Profiles, all of the choices get posted as a histogram or distribution.

If a series of reviewers select: 3 4 4 4 3 4 4 5 you'll a good idea that she is closest to a 4 (see pic).
I also proposed a "moving average" so you can if she is changing (usually gaining weight):
3 4 4 4 3 4 4 5 5 5 4 5 5 4 5 5 6 ...

This way, we are not stuck with
(a) meaningless terms ("athletic"? Is she a tiny Olympic gymnast or an Eastern European Olympic Weightlifter?)
(b) the first posted reviewer's opinion only

I think that "waif" would be a 1 or 2, ya think?

Land of movie stars, fast cars, bright lights and K-girls. Luv it.  I has to add my 2 cents HaHa

I don't like it at all. I've worked with providers that deliberately use fake photos, and I've gone off on them because of that. I cut my face from my photos to protect my identity...but I go so far as to create several different outfits I wear for my sessions, and try to take pics of all of them. So when you book an appointment with me, not only do I look like the tgirl in the photo, I look EXACTLY like the photo - and I can even wear the exact outfit you see in my photo, by request. True to photo.

The other day I booked a girl based on her pics and it says 5'1 100 lbs.
I get there and the girl was 5'5 at least 130 with a paunch of someone who had a kid. Honestly I would never have been attracted to her so giving up $ was pretty tough.  My fault for not leaving.
The session was crappy.
I complained to the Booker who texted "I don't see them I just put in the ads what they tell me."
Later texts he sent me to the wrong girl and apologizes but what good did that do me?

I am a straight shooter. I would just ask the booker and either they stay quiet, lie, or give me the truth, then I will know what kind of booker I am dealing with. Not every booker lie to me so I know who to trust.

I would also ask for recommendation and I was never disappointed when I did that.

I understand how you feel. I think I know the booker you are talking about. I go based on pics but I pay little attention to description. I have been looking at pictures so much that I can almost tell when they are only representation.

Sometimes I decide to go anyway and just as I suspect, she is not the same, but I still try to get my money worth anyway. I never think a session is crappy just because I don't like her look. Below average may be, but no regret.

Thx for the reply. Actually the session was crappy because the girl was not friendly and rushed through the session, no kidding not much touching and no attempt to connect. Almost what I  call "old folks marriage sex" out of duty :-)

That was crappy. That kind of thing would make me question why CIS exists and push me to seek retirement.

Luckily I have not experienced the unfriendliness yet. I recently saw a mature lady with more fat on her stomach than I have ever seen before. I thought, was she pregnant? That was why I sympathized with your earlier post.

She looked nothing like her pics but I was still not turned off yet. I always tried to make lemon juice out of a lemon so I was still able to enjoy the time with her. She was agreeable with everything I wanted, tried to connect and not rush.

In my experience on the east coast, you can tell from the ad pics who to expect in the room. I have never seen a 5'0" become a 5'5" (but I have seen way too many hour glass ) ( figures become | | or (--) in the room).  I prefer thin ) ( , but I'm more of a face guy anyway.
.
(EDIT: open par ( space close par ) produced open par SMILEY, like this (  ;) in the post. I added some hyphens to make it work better. I hope.)
.
I have arrived at a location with enough confidence in the pic info to know when I am met by someone other than my pre-arranged date. So I politely call them on it: "I'm here to see Tami. You're not Tami." Mama-san or phone girl, who ASSURED me that Tami would be available at that time will sometimes try to push the new girl or someone who needs more business on me.  If "Tami is busy now", I have no problem excusing myself and saying that I will come back later or on another day.
.
In your case, a polite "Are you Coco?" can be dealt with in many ways. A good answer would be, "No, I'm Pepsi. Coco is busy." "Oh, I was really looking forward to seeing Coco." ...
.
If, "Yes, I am Coco!" you can say, "But you don't look anything like the pics." and see where things go from there.
.
Sounds like one to chalk up to experience.
