I will say that your description of YEMV sounds a lot like I was here, and led me to pass on seeing more of them. A 20% success rate is not what I am looking for 
Seems to be a good amount of Japanese Providers recently new to the L.A. area.

I also don't think she is Japanese, maybe half Korean.
I put that out on the boards a while back and I don't remember anyone clearing that up.

I'm pretty sure that she's never serviced a civvie girl but she's willing to go for it so I'm sure that I won't be disappointed. All of the reviews that I've seen of the Yoco/Miko duo don't imply that there's much interaction between them but I could be wrong. The only way to find out her oral skills is to book her. But seems like a couple of years ago that J-girls started showing up with some frequency is clearly established agencies. A while back, 6 months? a year? forget the timing but was talking with one of the girls. She said there was an agent in Japan that was working with both sides -- Japan and the US. Sounds like someone has put some logistics together for the J-girls that solves a lot of their "how to do this" problems. Particularly as most of the J-girls seem to have much poorer English language skills than the K-Girls. The exchange rate has not been hurting either but not sure how much that actually figures into their decision making.
I don't know if Japanese also enjoyed the same visa waiver program options Koreans do (would think so but histories are different so political relationships might differ also. I did notice the following:

If the ESTA is fairly new for and simplifying their travel authorization process might also explain why we're seeing the influx.

I was in Japan in April and only requirement was a valid passport. I would think it would be the same for Japanese citizens to enter the USA?
Perhaps and I would think the USA would have little issue with Japanese entering the country. That said, I go to the Philippines and just need my visa -- and suppose to leave within 30 days but I cannot recall anyone asking for my return flight info at entry. However, it is very difficult for Filipinos to get US visas. It was mostly the bit in my quoted section about the headache of getting something approved at an embassy or consulate. (One thing to consider is that there are a lot of North Koreans, or those that support and identify with that regime, in Japan with Japanese citizenship -- of Japanese passports. Not sure if that factors in or not.)
So this is a bit of tinfoil hat theory, but there is a very unbstantiated rumor of bay area orgs all raising prices by a lot and most implementing upcharges.
Now, most jgirls here right now carry either a higher base price or extras upcharge, or both.
This got me thinking, is this jgirl influx a testing ground for potential price hikes? The only thing I'll say is that if review scores are of any indication, at least service wise they don't appear to measure up to kgirl level service.
And itll be a tough sell in general for bay area mongers who are used to all inclusive
Both S. Korea and Japan have visa waiver status, so can visit the USA without a visa for 90 days. They both have similar per capita GDPs. So I would guess that any difference in providers would be likely cultural.

I recently visited two JAV girls in LA! Both had video ads mixed in with photos, so I figured out their names, one with help of booker, and googled them to locate their videos.
