Yes, I noticed 3 very good and accurate reviewers who were permanently banned without any warning a few months ago. All at the same time, in fact weeks after their post. Basically, when admin gets pissed off at a new infraction he goes back and permabans anyone of a similar infraction retroactively. One time, they even accidentally deleted the wrong violator (he permabanned the user below instead) but didn't give a fuck and even doubled down on his mistake. I know the admin's behavior well and long, he has always done this at times (it is a one-day thing then he calms down). He is bipolar.
So the banned members' infraction was to review or praise Minji in LA while she was in LV (or at least recently in LV). Not even a warning in their case. Some clearly did not know the rule, because in fact the sticky had expired in the LV thread. In fact, the original sticky itself did not ban this practice and I can prove that was even admin's own interpretation that it was okay (originally). Later, the CLL issue pissed off admin again and he changed his mind.
Any possible interpretation of the LV sticky rule would allow the Minji review, it's black and white. Even admin himself agreed originally. But then later admin got pissed off about CLL and he wrote a rant and the same day he deleted a post with a warning not to even mention a girl who worked at CLL (i.e. indirectly helping CLL). Weeks later he got pissed off again and then retroactively banned people who reviewed Minji and the original poster he deleted. This proves that admin repeatedly changed his mind and the rules and contradicted himself. At first it was literally 100% okay to do, then admin changed his mind and deleted with a warning (fair), then he changed his mind again and banned everyone who did it.
I saw this train wreck coming. The problem the "new rule" was literally an admin comment attached to a deleted post. That's it. As every week passed it became more likely some LV user never saw it. This was a new rule, modifying the original CLL sticky! To follow admin's rule a user would have to 1) Know the CLL rule, which literally wasn't there anymore (it fell off). 2) Read that ONE post with the admin warning making up a brand new rule, 3) Know that the girl being reviewed is currently or nearly working at CLL. Even someone who did not violate the new rule could and will be banned if the girl happens to work CLL when admin checks. That's how stupid it is.
When admin2 is not in blind range, they are actually 95% consistent about enforcing rules. Even when I don't agree with them, they're consistent and have some logic behind warnings and bans even if I don't agree with them. But in 5%, the fuck up and double down. It's their personality. admin3 I'm sure is trying to do things right, but fucks up by not even knowing the site rules properly. Admin3 warned me on a post and I had to CC admin2 and quote the site's own rules back and that the rules have never changed in 10 years or never once been enforced that way (and never have again since btw). No reply.
They'll reply if they think they're right btw. They mistakenly banned someone else and when they complained they doubled down.
