I honestly can't remember the last appointment I was in where the clock wasn't set ahead at least 5 minutes. I remember a few years ago when the girl was out of the room I re-set the clock to the right time and she then set it ahead again when she got in the room LOL
A clock set ahead does not deprive us from any of our time, as long as the appointments have a 10-15 minute gap between them (10:00; 11:15; 12:30, etc.).
A clock set ahead always deprives us of our time because we walk in using actual time, but have to walk out using the time shown by the clock.
Unfortunately pretty much every single org uses a clock that is set ahead. Some are as much as 15 mins ahead. When I walk in, I demonstratively check the clock and look at my phone as to show I know the difference.
Most orgs also don't take appointments at x:15 or even y:30
It's not a big deal to me unless it's consistently 10+ minutes and the PO gives green light late. I'm not going to fight over 5 mins of time.
What I found interesting is that if you go for 30 mins, theyll honor the clock being fast, because otherwise your session is just a 5 minute session plus shower.

I haven’t been shorted by that 5 minute difference in quite some time. Back in 2013, I think.
I always send a text to the PO before I knock that says “My 2 hour (or whatever the booked time is) session starts right now, correct?”. They always text back in the affirmative. More often than not the session exceeds my allotted time by a bit. And, yes, I always check.
Even when the girl is late and my session starts at a later time they always make it up to me at the end. If you’re concerned, track the time yourself and see. But, as always, YMMV.
because I hate being rushed trying to get out of the end. Since all of my repeats are for two hours, five or ten minutes is nothing in the grand scheme of things, and I usually don't even look at the clock until after my second pop. By that time, there is usually about 15 minutes left at first glance. The only time I pay attention to the clock is during one-hour sessions with a new girl. I want to make sure I get my pop with about 15 minutes left, but that includes the five minutes leeway I have from the fast clock.
