I know this is a libg shot but worth a try. Does anybody know of any in Iowa, specifically the Des Moines area? I'll be traveling next month and would like to sample the local scene.

As someone who has spent a lot of time in Iowa, I highly doubt it.  But... good luck, you are probably better off trying something other than Korean, if you're in DSM.  For kgirls, try larger and coastal cities.
