K in K-girls stands for Korean. But more thorough discussion of who is a K-girl is just few threads below.

Although I agree that not all Korean providers are K-girls, I do not think non-Korean providers are K-girls. For example, many Thai agencies in our area operate just like K-agencies with bookers, shower, service, etc often in same complex, but I doubt that anyone on these boards would call them K-girls.

As for those claiming to be half Japanese or even Japanese, they are often full ethnic Koreans who have either lived and worked in Japan or have a Korean parent who was born in Japan.
