I was just curious to know if it's common for some you gents to have received high value gifts ($300-$500) from perhaps your ATF's for Christmas or Birthday?

If it's common, I would have to say that I haven't had an ATF long enough to get one.

I did receive one gift for a holiday that was nice, but not of high value.  Maybe it was a re-gift.  Anyway, it was nice and appreciated.

...Just kidding -- don't lose your shit.

If she gives you a gift, chances are it's something another john gave to her.

Last year got a big box of red ginseng drink from one of my regular.  She said it would help me with my stamina.  haha  Later while shopping in Ktown found out that this box was verrrrrrry expensive.  I usually get her clothing because kgirls love clothes from the USA.

My regular in OC gave be a pair of Nike running shoes.  Nice!!!!!

I have been seeing these two regulars for a few years and so we are good friends.

Love designer stuff.  I would never spend more than $100 on a necktie, but I have a few dozen high end designer ties that were gifts from Kgirl regulars over several years that range from $250-$400, but still much less than I spend on them at Christmas, birthdays, etc.  Fortunately, I have never had to buy a Kgirl a Mothers' Day gift.

That explains the lace thong and FM high heels I got one year that were WAY too small.

I have. It was totally unexpected. It was something that she
put a lot of thought into. I still miss her.

Several are mentioning fancy gifts in their replies.  I have never given or received fancy gifts - I think the East Coast may be a little different than the West Coast on that. But I can leave the AMP in Manhattan, walk a couple of blocks and get a genuine Louis Vuittton or Gucii handbag or belt for $30 - a lot cheaper than $300+ for a Louis Vuitton or Gucci item elsewhere.

Some knockoffs are really, really well done and can fool you ... and also a K-girl.

Some girls have shown me things that they bought for themselves - at a really good price - and I didn't want to hurt their feelings or burst their bubble by suggesting that it might be fake. Or if I came close to such a thing, to hear, "Oh no, you're wrong. I bought it from my friend. He is a good guy and got me a good price!" (What is the emoticon for "rolling my eyes"?)

Extra gifts from them or no gifts from them, I love the K-girls. THEY are a gift

We are known the world over as "Yellow Jews" Back in the day we were also called "Oriental Jews" but "Oriental" is now supposed to be offensive. lol

gave me a Luxury Italian leather wallet fir my B-day valued well above $500.  It came with a gift receipt in case I didn't like the color.  I was floored at the gesture!

There are a lot of things that offend me. Being called "Asian American" when I was born and raised here is one of them. but only a "Persian rug" should be offended by being called Oriental as Persia is "Del Medio Oriente" NOT "Oriental"

Sorry, but I am sick and tired of White people telling what should and should not offend me.

humor being a little too subtle?  Is anyone else offended by the term "oriental" used in reference to rugs?  Reread my post.  I don't think I made any reference to what should or shouldn't offend you.  Perhaps a PUI moment?

As far as terminology, when I was a kid and we sent our Persian rugs out for dry cleaning, the receipt they gave us always said X number of ORIENTAL rugs, regardless of whether it is technically correct or not.  Common usage often trumps actual definition.

and I made the error of combining a joke and a separate serious remark in the same post.

The part about rugs was a joke. The part about white people telling me what should and should not offend me was serious, it just was made as a general statement and not directed at you.

and Yes I was PUI, but that's hardly an excuse I am PUI at least a third of my time here. lol

I got cologne from a provider one time.  I didn't like the smell of it, so never really used it.  But it was still a very nice gesture. I'm guessing she prob bought a few for her repeat customers.
