There are a few agencies that are part of the same org, even if they have a different name, so they use a single database for all of their locations. If they're not affiliated, then they don't have access to other agency's customer lists.

In NYC, most of the KMPs are independent of each other but everybody knows everybody. The K-girls move from house to house; the phone girls (the NYC equivalent of booker) move from house to house. Even if there is no official sharing of phone lists, they do seem to end up getting shared, perhaps when phone girls move around and bring a copy of their most recent lists with them. If they can verify someone not on the existing house list from a copy of a list they brought with them, that's more money for the house and her.

I don't know how much sharing takes place between the KMP lofts / apartments and the more independent, smaller but often more upscale K-girl outfits. One new place I called started with a "no" but I told her that they know me at several other places that I named. When I called back later, I think she had called some of those places because I then got her OK.
